Willa Reglówka is a story about escaping the city and love. Man to woman, woman to man. Love for antiques. A passion for collecting. When you feel that it's time to jump out of the concrete maze, head towards Nadarzyn. The road to Reglówka from Warsaw takes literally half an hour. Orchards on the left, grains on the right, a cow, a horse, a cow. Just outside the city, and kind of far away. In the fruit garden, between apple trees, plums and quinces, surrounded by rhododendrons, jasmines and peonies, stands a house with a red roof overgrown with ivy. Sometimes the meadow behind the house will be visited by the neighbours' horse, a stork will visit something in the grass, in the summer, time is spent by the river or in the current, and we, the hosts living next door, will be happy to chat, light a campfire in the orchard or advise you on where to go on a bicycle trip.
Time goes by slowly. At the grill overlooking the meadow, in the backyard forest with mushrooms, on a walk in the adjacent palace park, in a tree house, in the garden, in a hammock. There's nowhere to be in a hurry and no reason to rush.
Years later it became the Villa Reglówka, because initially it was an old house in a wonderful location. Three ha, two houses, the river rustling in the background, fruit falling from the trees. During the renovation, the interiors were filled with memories of Darek's distant journeys, period furniture found at flea markets, antique shops, and auctions, and knick-knacks that catch your eye. The rugs in this home exceeded all Polish standards. Here in Reglówka, they cover the wooden parquet floors, walls and slants above the beds. Most of the carpets, rugs and tapestries were brought by the host from Azejberjan and the Caucasus, they are hand-woven from natural fibers, they are quite old. The number of antiques per square meter can overwhelm the owners of high-gloss white kitchens. However, those who appreciate antiques, a fireplace, slightly squeaky floors, an atmospheric alcove and greenery blending in through the windows into the interior will be more than pleased. Darek put his heart and soul into restoring furniture, decorating walls, selecting Art Nouveau lambrequins and French jacquards. This is the house of an aristocrat's grandmother that most of us did not have. Items with a last-century certificate fill every corner and create an unusual atmosphere. Our guests often say that in this house, they feel like they're in a museum, and the surroundings are like a rural safari. It is a museum for immediate living where the exhibits can be touched.

We give you the keys to the house - Darek, an engineer, enthusiast of antiques and antique restoration, and Kateryna, a doctor and psychologist by education, a host by passion, mother of two children by vocation. Our fates came together, somewhere in the middle of the road. First, Darek, who supervises the laying of industrial tiles on a daily basis, dreamed of a house full of relics from the past. It was supposed to be a country cottage or a completely perverse villa with a soul near Warsaw. The latter happened. Years later it became the Villa Reglówka, because initially, it was an old house in a wonderful location. We had to roll up our sleeves and combine the experience of an engineer with a heart for antiques. The interiors are impossible to imitate. It is a fusion of the old Polish style with the memories of Asian journeys. To India, Burma, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Cuba. When the house was coming together, it was time for love. Then I showed up. I gave up my professional life in a lab coat and at the moment I am actively doing what I like, welcoming guests from all over the world. I come from the east, so hospitality and openness are not only part of our traditions, but also part of my character. We invite you to a home filled with heart and cordiality. Immersed in nature, where we care about what's natural.
