Wróbel nad Rzeką

On our farm located on the edge of the small village of Wróbel, in a settlement of six farms, surrounded by hills, meadows and forests. These areas still have features of wilderness, which makes it easy to forget about the world here and switch to rural modes. We have a large plot of land at the end of which the Gołdapa River flows lazily. Above it, a small beach and a pier. And, of course, chirping sparrows. There are 4 guest rooms in the building. On the ground floor there are two of them: triple rooms with a single bed and a sofa bed. In the attic there is a large family room with 2-3 single beds and a sofa bed and a double room with a double bed. In each room, it is possible to slightly modify the layout of the sleeping places and to add a bed or cot. Each of them has its own bathroom. The common areas include our guests' favorite shelter with a view of the meadow and the picturesque hill along the river, with benches and hammocks. All visitors to Wróbel are most eager to hang out here. There is an open kitchen / dining room and a lounge with a children's corner, ping-pong table and a small library. Outside, more than a hectare of plot with many amenities that facilitate complete relaxation. We love animals and are happy to host them with us, so you can come to Wróbel Nad Rzeką with your four-legged friends. Our vast area and the surrounding area are a perfect place to play and walk the dogs. Important information for dog handlers may be that the guest area is not fenced. Our pets, familiar with the guests, walk freely around the farm - females Zuzia and Pola and a female cat Tiśka, chickens live in their own pen. Our neighbors also have dogs, cats and chickens. Possible escape dogs, cat chasers and bird constrictors must therefore be under supervision.

We cook ourselves from what is growing here. We have our own vegetables and fruits and fresh eggs from our hens. We also have our own smokehouse. What we cannot produce ourselves, we buy from our neighbors or from local, proven suppliers. The "Wróblowa" kitchen is healthy and homely. All dishes are prepared on an ongoing basis to be fresh and tailored to the needs and preferences of guests. We make preserves from seasonal products, we like to cook vegetarian and vegan. Be sure to let us know in advance what your preferences are for the menu. The price list for food can be found below. You can also use a country-style kitchen with a separate entrance. You will find there the utensils and dishes necessary to prepare meals, a gas stove, a microwave and a refrigerator. The atmosphere is complemented by traditional tiled cuisine. Here we also serve breakfasts and lunches prepared by us. Outside, there is plenty of space for barbecuing, picnicking and a designated bonfire area. In the village of Banie Mazurskie, 3 km from Wróbel, there is a pharmacy, post office and several shops where you can stock up on all the necessary groceries. There is also the Bar Młyn offering classic cuisine, boasting the title of Master Kartaczy, and an ice cream parlor, famous in the wide area, serving unchanged, traditional 3 flavors for almost 40 years.

Our farm is located only a few hundred meters from the Green Velo Eastern Cycle Route. We are very happy that we can be proud of the recommendation of a Cyclist-Friendly Place, and thus we have the necessary knowledge and tools that we are happy to share with fans of two wheels. We have a parking lot for bicycles, a lockable room for storing equipment and a professional set of repair tools. We also have bikes at your disposal (including those for children), so you don't have to bring your own. However, if you are not drawn to the saddle, there will also be places for walks. The vicinity of the settlement is not only the wild Gołdapa River, but also the picturesque Szeskie Hills and Skaliszki Forests, rich in wonderful landscapes. Ask us where to go, we'll give you some hints. We walked and traveled many nearby routes and trails. For water lovers, we recommend rafting down Gołdapa - a river with an extremely varied character. We organize rafting on the river and nearby lakes for those willing. There are several of them within a few kilometers. You can take a bath in them away from the hustle and bustle of typical beaches. The nearest, clean, picturesque Czupowskie Lake, located in the middle of the forest, is located in Gryżewo, 4 km from Wróbel. We also recommend a trip to Lake Gołdopiwo (approx. 15 km from the house). Above it, there are several wild and guarded beaches and a water equipment rental. Our farm is situated on the very Gołdapa, so you can take advantage of its charms without even leaving Wróbel. We have our own pier and bathing area, and friends organize canoeing trips (if you want to use them, let us know in advance). The river is clean and you can swim in it freely, although the current is sometimes too fast for the youngest. That is why we also offer children and not only swimming in the garden pool. We also have several other attractions and amenities in our habitat: - volleyball / badminton court - a large recreational shelter, which is part of the building with rooms - a shelter by the river - garden Grill - a place for a bonfire - a really high swing on the river bank - bikes - table tennis table - hammocks, deck chairs, beach blankets In case of bad weather and in colder months, you can spend time in a large lounge in the attic. We have equipped it with a tennis table, gymnastic wall bars, board games, toys, soft pouffes, cushions, a couch and a TV set. The area is liked by anglers - Gołdap is full of, among others into trout, and apart from the river and lakes there are several fish-filled ponds. The nearest one is only 300 m from our farm, a much larger, several hectare reservoir is located 4 km from Wróbel.
