It is good that you are here. Let us open the door to our island life for you. If you're dreaming of tropical relaxation and sweet indolence, you've come to the right place. After torrential rains, we have a jungle here, the landscape is reminiscent of New Zealand, and the views look like they came out of a wallpaper. However, this is not Cuba, an island as hot as a volcano, but the Beskid Wyspowy. It bears this name not without reason. From your window, you can admire its peaks surrounded by vast valleys, which are deceptively reminiscent of lonely islands. Each peak is a new adventure and a new story to tell, and conquering them is no mean feat. Up, down, up, down and on and on.
Wyspowa Dolina is our corner of paradise. It is one of those magical places you discover when you travel around the world. We have already explored its various edges, but we still chose this beginning of the mountains for our natural farm.
However, it was not downhill, rather the other way round. It was a challenge because the leaning hut needed a second life, and we decided to do everything to stay in harmony with nature during the renovation and use what the earth gives us and recycled materials. Clay, straw, wood and stone, plus handiwork and creativity. The whole family worked on the colourful façade. We made a mosaic out of leftover pots, broken plates and cups so that an artistic work was created. The murals on the outside and inside were painted by our friend Sebastian. This is how Wyspowa Dolina came into being. From scraps, from flea markets, from gifts from friends, from souvenirs from all over the world. It is wonderful, it is our way.
We have for you rooms with a shared bathroom or the whole "Słonecznik" cottage for exclusivity, we have an elegant trailer with exotic panorama and a beautiful yurt with a bathroom and kitchenette overlooking the islands.
In autumn, we roll in the leaves and go mushroom picking with the cats, the kids jump on hay bales in the playground, we eat bean brownies, sometimes we fire up the console and have a party. We grow a garden, constantly drill or tighten something and live the life we want. Welcome to our island.
In an over 100-year-old natural farm that we built, renovated and improved with our own hands. We used organic materials: straw, clay, wood and stone. You can breathe deeply in our interiors, because even the paints are natural - clay. We try to make every corner of the Island feel cozy. It's the details that create the atmosphere, especially those brought from travels or given as gifts from friends. Our long-standing collections have finally found their place - a Buddha here, a handmade macrame there, a sofa from a friend, a wardrobe from a demolished house, an umbrella from Thailand, a table from a flea market, a mandala from friends. You can't buy this atmosphere in a store.
In our "barn" called Słonecznik you can read, eat together, listen to music from vinyl records, and try your hand at the climbing wall. There is a bar in the corner of this large space, so it's the perfect place to hang out together in the evening. You can rent Sunflower as a whole or by room.

The kitchen is Ewelina's kingdom. It is a creative workshop of taste and good habits. Healthy habits are essential, which is why we serve local, seasonal products and those from our garden. Variations on vegetarian, vegan and traditional recipes are created here. We serve common meals (breakfasts and dinners) in our Słonecznik, and in summer we eat outside. After all, everything tastes better in nature.
Breakfast: 08.30 – 10.00.
We serve sweet and salty breakfasts, so everyone can find something for themselves. The table may include chocolate oatmeal with strawberries, celery pâté, bean pâté, beetroot carpaccio, millet with a green fruit cocktail, eggplant paste, parsley pesto, home-made bread, a jug of herbs and, of course, a jug of coffee according to 5 variations.
Dessert is an important element of everyday life, so we try different things. We make homemade compote jelly, chickpea brownie with pomegranate, tart with amazing chocolate cream and cherries.
Possibility to order a hot meal for organized groups.
We consider individual diets after prior information, so let us know.
Here you can breathe deeply, absorb the moment, draw strength from nature and enjoy the little things. We recommend lying in the orchard, going for a run in the Beskid Mountains with the host, relaxing in the gazebo on hot days, and in the evening sitting by the fire, chatting and raising your head. Here you will discover a truly milky way, planets visible to the naked eye and connect the dots to create sky-high pictures.
For your holiday in Wyspowa, it is worth arming yourself with wellingtons or trekking shoes and exploring the forest. You can come back with an armful of mushrooms, wild flowers, deer traces, pine cones and peace in your mind. We go for walks in meadows and forests only in the company of dogs and sometimes cats.
If you dream of lying down, lounging, hammocking or sunbathing, we have perfect conditions for it. You can grab a book from our bookcase, take a deckchair under your arm and go to the middle of the meadow. While reading, you may be distracted by otherworldly views, noisy insects and pets hungry for caresses. However, there is a slight chance that you will rest in peace.
There is also something to do actively.
Beskid Wyspowy is amazing because it is absolutely unique mountains. They do not form a typical range, and climbing several peaks in one day is quite a challenge. The valleys hide secrets and plenty of nooks, streams and glades that are perfect for walking and cycling. Where to climb, where to run, where to go, we are already in a hurry to help:
It is worth climbing, or maybe even running, to: Mogielica, Łopień, Ćwilin, Śnieżnica, Jaworz, Lubogoszcz or Luboń Wielki. More information can be found at these links:
https://www.szlaki.net.pl/beskid_wyspowy.php
https://mynaszlaku.pl/category/opisy-gorskich-szlakow/beskid-wyspowy/
The route to Mogielica, the highest peak of the Beskid Wyspowy (1171 m above sea level), will take you about 1.5 hours. At its top there is an observation tower from which the views of the Beskid Wyspowy, Beskid Sądecki, Gorce, Pieniny and Tatra Mountains will compensate for shortness of breath.
If downhill skiing is a no-brainer for you, try cross-country skiing. Cross-country ski trails are located within the State Forests. More information can be found on the official website: www.trasymogielica.pl. The routes are marked, and there are shelters and benches and tables in the parking and viewing areas.
For a bike, go only to Kasina Bike Park. Advanced, beginner, recreational and adventurous. With children too. In Kasina you can easily rent a bike, learn at a bicycle school, have fun on the pump track and ride a chair to the top and then ride down. There are 9 routes, each with a different profile and difficulty level.
We recommend the Małopolska Railway Tourism Trails not only to locomotive fans, i.e. seasonal journeys of retro trains from the Rolling Stock Open-Air Museum in Chabówka on the section to Kasina Wielka. There is also Skansem Kolej, which is worth a stop. More information can be found at: www.kolejegalicyjskie.pl
This is not the end, we have more ideas that we will be happy to share over our morning coffee.
What’s there for children?
There is no end to creative fun with us. We have two beloved meadow walkers, so we know how important the space for creative activities is. By giving children this space, their imaginations start to run and magic happens.
Our bullies are waiting for company. They are not afraid of having fun outside, inside you can always stand on your head or build a garage for cars, so innovative ideas do not end there. On the garden table, we organize art classes, you can ride a wheelbarrow, and you can drive a mini wheelbarrow, help in the garden, dig in the ground and tipper, arrange slides with a ball and train goal-kicking, let planes downwind and organize picnics. In spring, we collect dandelions for honey, make our own perfumes from flowers, in winter we sledge as hard as we can, and build snow constructions.
In our yard, kids have a playground with a slide, a swing, and a trampoline at their disposal. Nearby, we have prepared our own pumptrack for small cyclists, and in Kasina there is a whole bicycle base.
