So much poetry and now facts. The farmhouse is something like a country hotel and belongs to the larger places at Slowhop. This is why, if you are looking for exceptional peace and quiet - come back long after the season. But in the season it will be bustling here. Most likely your children will find their gang of friends here. We host yoga groups - we have rooms and a yoga room. We are friendly to guests with animals and after so many years we already know that dogs do not read our regulations. It may happen that the smells from the kitchen will be more important than the paragraphs and the guest's dog will look for food in your plate :) The building is wooden, so it smells like wood and sounds like wood. The floor creaks under the pressure of the feet, laughter is heard from the inn, and the kitchen is the sound of pots. Do you have approval for all of this? If so, we bow low and invite you. Any time of the year. For geese in the early spring, for ranches in spring, for cranes and for deer rutting in autumn, and for elks in winter.
Where will I stay?
There are 60 beds in Zagroda Kuwasy.
- 25 rooms of the same standard but for a different number of people (if you are a large group and it seems that there are not enough rooms - do not worry and write to us)
rooms for two people with a double bed (also for one person), with two separate beds, large family rooms (3-4 people)
- two two-room studios
- a double room specially adapted to the needs of the disabled.
Most of the rooms on the ground floor have a loggia, some of them have direct access to the garden (recommended for people arriving with dogs).
As standard, the rooms are equipped with a telephone, a large bathroom (with a shower) with a hairdryer, necessary cleaning products and frequently changed towels. There are no TVs in the rooms, which is a conscious action and welcomed by guests with approval.
Guests of Zagroda Kuwasy can use a stylishly decorated inn. This is where you can spend a pleasant evening. This is facilitated by a seating area with armchairs by the fireplace and a diversely stocked bar. You can also use the room with a ping-pong table. In summer, two terraces are at your disposal. In the guesthouse, guests have access to free WiFi internet.
We invite you to work with us! We have very good conditions for remote work. Guests say that the parameters of our network are like in a good office building :)
We have two internet connections: primary and backup. Parameters of our basic, fiber-optic Internet connection:
• Upload 300mb/s
• Download 300mb/s
• Communication with an access point 300mb/s (802.11ac).
• Each access point can support more than 300 devices.
The building is fully covered with Wi-Fi, and it also reaches the garden, which means working on a deckchair is also possible.
The BTS of the PLAY operator is located in our neighborhood. We deal with the limited range of other GSM operators by running Wi-Fi calling on a smartphone. Thanks to this, we can make and receive voice calls as if we were within the BTS range of our network.
Each room has a work table and 4 power sockets for each guest, you can connect a laptop, smartphone, battery charger, e.g. a camera, and a night lamp.
In addition, we have a backup Internet connection based on GSM with the following capacity:
• downloads up to 70mb/s
• upload up to 30mb/s
We offer, if necessary, the possibility of scanning and printing in A4 double-sided color.
We have a permanent contract with the DPD courier company. The courier regularly visits us, it is possible to send parcels.
In the case of remote work involving participation in teleconferences, we recommend using headphones with a microphone. Our router does not block VPN communication.
What about food?
We are radical and principled in only one thing: no flavor enhancers, synthetic spices and preservatives. We work with local farmers and breeders. We limit the use of meat in the kitchen, so vegetarians will find something more than just "pancakes" or "tomato sandwiches" on our tables.
We offer stays with full board. Sometimes it is breakfast and dinner, other times 3 meals - it depends on the plans and needs of guests.
How to spend time?

- we ride horses around the area,
- we go rafting down the Biebrza River, sometimes also by kayak
- we take the kids to the farm and familiarize them with the animals, especially the goats Balbina, Luna and Lilka
- we walk nonchalantly through the Biebrza swamps
- in winter we go cross-country skiing
- we wonder to ourselves, next door, sitting in a sauna by an icy lake
- we test bicycle routes
- we swim in the lake
- we go on thematic weekends, e.g. with yoga

- in autumn we process gifts from fields and gardens, closing them in jars for the winter

Zagroda Kuwasy is a great base for trips to the Suwałki region and Wild Masuria. Nearby there are Augustów, Ełk with a lake and a rope park, and Gołdap with Piękna Góra and a ski lift.

Przepiękne miejsce tuż na granicy Biebrzańskiego Parku Narodowego. Na terenie duża łąka, rowery, staw oraz konie i kozy które dopełniają podlaski sielski krajobraz. Jedzenie pyszne, domowe i lokalne a obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna.

Pobyt był dokładnie taki, jaki sobie wymarzyliśmy. Zagroda jest piękna i leży na skraju parku. Byłam zachwycona ciszą za oknem i pysznym jedzeniem. Jestem wegetarianką i każdego dnia mogłam próbować przepysznych serów zagrodowych, przetworów, humusów i innych dań zrobionych z myślą o osobach odżywiających się roslinnie. Mój chłopak natomiast je mięso i też był bardzo zadowolony. Po zagrodzie przechadzają się przesłodkie koty, za oknem pasą się kozy i konie. Pokoje są wygodne i ciepłe. Wśród dekoracji nie ma poroży i skór, co także było dla mnie ważne. Pani właścicielka doradziła nam gdzie się udać na wycieczkę i cały pobyt była pomocna i dostępna. W sobotę była możliwość zapisania się na masaż u Judyty, z którego skorzystaliśmy i bardzo polecamy! Podsumowując, wróciliśmy najedzeni, wypoczęci i z wieloma miłymi wspomnieniami. Dziękujemy!

Cudownie! Dokładnie to, czego było nam potrzeba. Cisza, spokój i piękna przyroda. W samej Zagrodzie przemili i niezwykle pomocni Gospodarze! Pyszne jedzenie z wieloma opcjami wege, każdy miał z czego wybierać, nawet nasz 9miesięczny syn. PS: jeśli jedziecie zimą nie zapomnijcie zmienić opon 🤣

Bardzo przyjemne miejsce, piękny, zielony teren, pokoje schludne, wyposażone we wszystkie niezbędne przedmioty. Bardzo smaczne posiłki z opcją zarówno mięsną jak i wege. Przemiła obsługa, szczególnie Pań z części restauracyjnej. Bardzo miłe było oferowanie przegapionego obiadu w czasie kolacji oraz ewentualna opcja przeniesienia go na dzień wyjazdu, co pozwala poodpoczywać w Zagrodzie ciut dłużej i wyjechać z pełnym brzuchem. Podobała mi się też troskliwa opieka gospodarzy oraz Pani z recepcji, którą zapytałam o godzinę wymeldowania. Gdy Pani usłyszała jak poganiam córkę, bo zostało nam 20 minut na spakowanie się, Pani wybiegła za mną i uspokoiła mnie mówiąc, że spokojnie mogę się wymeldować pół godziny później. Myślę, że dobrym pomysłem byłoby stworzenie może jakiejś listy miejsc, do których można się z Zagrody udać na wycieczkę i udostępnianie jej gościom. Generalnie bardzo miłe miejsce. Polecam serdecznie!

Doskonałe miejsce na aktywny wypoczynek (spacery, rowery, kajaki) lub też "nicnierobienie". Ogromny teren (mało cienia) i przesympatyczne kozy. Pokoje czyste i bardzo ładne, zachowują klimat miejsca, pięknie utrzymany budynek. Jeśli chodzi o posiłki to widać nastawienie na jakość, nie ilość (chociaż nie każdemu serwowane jedzenie może przypaść do gustu). Widać że właściciele wkładają w prowadzenie Zagrody całe serce i błyskawicznie reagują na problemowe sytuacje. Najwiekszym minusem są okropnie gryzące końskie muchy w lesie oraz przy zwierzętach.

Our stay at Zagroda Kuwasy was interesting. We really enjoyed their location; traveled and experienced this fascinating region. They recommended a local guide who took us to the park. We learned so much from her. We didn’t expect a childrens’ camp to be there at the same time as Slowhop tourists, but I guess that takes place there during the school holidays. When we asked, we were told that this was a yoga retreat for holidays when parents do yoga and their children are taken care of on the grounds by two child minders. As one can imagine, the kids were enjoying themselves to the fullest and the place was busy. The food included a lot of the regional specialties which was fun to taste. It did seem that they cater to all as the food seemed a bit bland. We enjoyed and took home many of their preserves. It would be great if they offered cooking classes for the guests or a cookbook with the recipes. Our daughter loved playing and visiting with the farm animals. Our room was quite hot with the window located very high over the desk which made it difficult to open. The window didn’t open much as the curtains rod was blocking it from opening and the mosquito net needed to be fixed. It was unfortunate that during our 4 day stay, we didn’t have water for 2 days. We were told that this was the first time it happened. It would have been great if people would be a bit more happy and friendly. Our stay didn’t feel personal. The staff didn’t seem to be enjoying themselves. Smiling and saying hello and maybe asking how did our day go or having a conversation about the area would have been great.i guess our expectation was that this is a place where the owners are passionate and friendly but perhaps they were preoccupied with the repairs of the water? The place has lots of potential and its location is great.

I had the pleasure of talking with your husband and adorable daughter several times, and feeding the horses and goats during the evening ritual. She truly enjoyed caring for our animals. Please give your family our warmest regards! The fact is, you found us at an extremely difficult time. In Zagroda's over 20-year history, we've never experienced such a serious outage. Due to climate change, Podlasie has been suffering from a hydrological drought for several years. As a result, our water supply dried up. Please understand that at such a time, we and our staff were unable to smile, much less organize cooking classes… We have focused on solving a difficult situation, which ultimately succeeded, as the water was already running on the day before your departure. Considering the seriousness of the outage, restoring water to the taps within 30 hours, and on a weekend (!!!), is a success. Thank you for pointing out the detached mosquito net and the obstructing curtain rod. Our maintenance technician could have easily repair these minor issues during your stay – all you should to do, was to report them while you were here. We do not organize summer camps for children. However, during your stay, we did organize a family camp. Children were provided with activities with animators. Parents are generally happy that their children have someone to play with. However, if you prefer a more peaceful stay, we encourage you to choose a date outside the peak school holiday season. We cordially invite you to visit again, hopefully without any problems. Z pani mężem i uroczą córeczką miałam osobiście przyjemność kilkukrotnie rozmawiać, karmić konie i kozy podczas wieczornego obrządku. Opieka nad naszymi zwierzakami sprawiała jej faktycznie dużą przyjemność. Proszę przekazać rodzinie serdeczne pozdrowienia od nas! Faktem jest, że trafili Państwo do nas w momencie niezwykle dla nas trudnym. Podczas ponad 20-letniej historii Zagrody nigdy nie mieliśmy aż tak poważnej awarii. Wskutek zmian klimatycznych Podlasie cierpi od kilku lat z powodu suszy hydrologicznej, co przyniosło skutek w postaci wyschnięcia naszego ujęcia wody. Proszę nas zrozumieć, że w takim momencie zarówno my, jak i osoby u nas pracujące, nie mieliśmy uśmiechu na twarzy, a tym bardziej możliwości organizacji lekcji gotowania… Skupiliśmy całą swoją energię na zaradzeniu kryzysowi, co finalnie się udało, gdyż w przeddzień Waszego wyjazdu woda już się pojawiła. Zważywszy na to, z jak poważną awarią mieliśmy do czynienia, przywrócenie wody w kranach w ciągu 30 godzin, w dodatku w weekend, to sukces. Dziękuję za zwrócenie uwagi na odstającą moskitierę i zawadzający karnisz. Nasz konserwator poradziłby sobie bez trudu z tymi drobnymi usterkami w trakcie Państwa pobytu – wystarczyło nam to zgłosić, będąc u nas. Nie organizujemy kolonii letnich dla dzieci. W trakcie Państwa pobytu mieliśmy natomiast zorganizowany turnus dla rodzin, podczas którego dla dzieci były zapewnione zajęcia z animatorkami. Najczęściej rodzice dzieci są zadowoleni, gdy ich pociecha spotyka na miejscu rówieśników i ma się z kim bawić. Jeśli jednak wolą Państwo spokojniejszy pobyt, zachęcamy do wybrania terminu poza ścisłym sezonem wakacyjnym. Jedno z miejsc do których chce się wracać. Jedzenie - tego to nie da się opisać ,wszystko świeżutkie ,lokalne produkty, smaczne z doskonałych składników. Dziękujemy za przygotowanie przepysznego urodzinowego tortu. Jesteśmy zadowoleni pod każdym względem. Przemiła i profesjonalna obsługa. Cisza ,spokój i to urokliwe otoczenie. Bardzo polecamy. Jeśli szukacie kontaktu z naturą, spokoju, dobrego jedzenia, miłego towarzystwa, to koniecznie odwiedźcie Zagrodę Kuwasy ! Pensjonat przepięknie położony. Na szlaki w zależności od sił, kondycji, chęci ... można ruszyć spod domu, można piechotą, można rowerem lub podjechać bliżej samochodem na leśny parking. Biebrzański Park Narodowy zaskakuje swoją różnorodnością a przez całą 20km wyprawę nie spotkaliśmy ani jednej osoby, więc naprawdę można odetchnąć od miejskiego życia. Pokój czysty, przytulny, gustownie i funkcjonalnie urządzony z bardzo wygodnym łóżkiem i pachnącą pościelą. Mile zaskoczyła nas dostępna w pokoju skrzynka lokalnej wody w szklanych butelkach. Kolejna niespodzianka to wyżywienie, zaskakujące smaki, własne przetwory, dużo różnorodnych dań wegetariańskich, ale także bardzo dobre dania mięsne, przepyszny chleb pieczony na miejscu - więc nikt nie wyjdzie głodny. Przez cały dzień dostępna kawa, herbata, zioła, kompoty, woda. Gospodarcze bardzo mili, dbają o swoich gości i ich potrzeby. Cała obsługa sympatyczna, życzliwa, chętna do pomocy. Na miejscu można skorzystać z masaży, a także kupić przetwory i zabrać ze sobą do domu, aby jeszcze posmakować po powrocie:). Polecamy i wrócimy na pewno !

The drive from the northern districts of Warsaw takes about 2.5 hours. Almost the entire route is covered by an expressway (S8, then S61), only the last 35 km is a road without expressway parameters. Our farmstead has two places for charging electric cars. You can use a place in a separate part of the parking lot, where two cars can "refuel" at the same time. We do not have a charging plug and we leave this to our guests. We have a single-phase voltage of 230V powered by alternating current (AC) and a three-phase voltage of 400V powered by alternating current (AC). After using the charging, we charge according to the power consumed. The nearest larger town is Grajewo, located at the intersection of national roads DK61 and DK65. From Grajewo, follow DW 665 towards Augustów/Suwałki. After 15 km in the town of Tama, turn right towards Woźnawieś. Our place is exactly 10 km from this turn. Follow the asphalt through the forest and then through the village. At the second speed limit of 30 km/h, leave the asphalt (which turns left) and go straight along the gravel road for about 100 m. You will see our house on the right. You will recognize the entrance for guests because the driveway is in the shape of a roundabout. Park your car at this roundabout and head through the main entrance to the reception. See you!
