At a glance

On a silver tray, we serve you a return to the past, a holiday with Podlasie ghosts and supper with a lavishly set table. A charming town awaits you in the Biebrza Valley, which is full of stories from the old days. In Tykocin, the fates of the Jews, the court and the knights intertwine. There is also a celebrity story here because film writers are fond of its long market square and wooden huts. As if that were not enough, the city is situated on the Narew River. Its backwaters are called the Podlasie Zoo. This is not the end of the adventures, because the Biebrza backwaters burst into nature a bit further, creating the Biebrza National Park. In such circumstances, the mainstay of the monarchs of the former Republic of Poland emerges, i.e. the Tykocin castle. It is more than brick walls, towers and cross vaults raised from the ashes. When crossing the gate of the fortress, one cannot help but feel that we have passed through a space-time portal. In every corner, you can feel the atmosphere of old times and the majesty of the power that accompanies this place. Throw in the court cuisine - Podlasie wonders on a plate, interesting Jewish delicacies and Tatar dishes, and you will get a truly royal effect.

We invite everyone who wants to move into the world of castles, chambers and tables full of delicacies, even for a moment. The company of still wild and unspoiled nature is free.

The history of this place is intertwined with the reign of Polish kings and is absorbed from cover to cover. In these five hundred years, a lot has happened here. The castle was visited by kings and guests from distant countries, it was also a witness of wars, disputes between rich families and great betrayal. It also had his five minutes in the history of the Republic of Poland several times. In the walls of the Tykocin castle, King August II the Strong established the most important decoration of the Republic of Poland - the Order of the White Eagle, Janusz Radziwiłł spent his time here and died. Polish kings resided at the castle court, incl. Władysław III Waza and foreign rulers - among them the Tsar of Russia Peter I. Both eminent figures and wars did not avoid our Castle: from the Swedish invasion, through the war of Polish succession, to the January Uprising. Destroyed twice - it rose from ruins twice. Luckily, thanks to long and arduous scientific research and reconstruction works started at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries, it became the pride of the owners and the people who work there. We all invite you to Tykocin. We will do everything to make you feel good with us.

Śpiew ptaków - do snu i na pobudkę. Urokliwe miasteczko. Rejs z przewodnikiem po Narwi.

Pięka miejscowość i klimatyczny zamek.Cisza i spokój, wspaniała kuchnia regionalna. Mnóstwo tras pieszych, rowerowych i wodnych w niedalekiej odległości .Niezwykła przyroda .

Zamek stanowi doskonałą bazę do zwiedzania Tykocina i okolicznych parków.
