If you asked us where the heart of Mazury beats, we would say that it is here. In the basket of Krutynia, changing its mind just below Rosocha and boldly moving up to Mikołajki. We knew that our house could not stand anywhere else. Because everything is here: a zigzag river, lakes in which direction to go, and forests surrounded by the protection of the Masurian Landscape Park. Stately horses from the neighboring Ferenstein stud and wild lynxes from the park in Kadzidłowo. That's why we have an idea for you: if this is your first contact with Masuria, come to Ukta. If the next one, don't hesitate either. This is Masuria in a nutshell, where we serve slow-style holidays where you can't get bored. We call them slow inclusive.

Although it looks like a house that is old, our Lavender House was built only recently. We knew that it would be made of brick and with the look given to it by the old beams from the demolition of old houses. We have prepared 5 comfortable apartments for you - each with a bathroom and a balcony with a soothing view for a newcomer from the city. We have a beautiful area surrounded by green meadows, to which we added the colors of our beloved lavender. We will lend you bikes, organize a canoeing trip for you and invite you to meet our horses. We will tell you where to go for yoga in the morning. And then, we will leave the cared-for ones to themselves, so that you can enjoy the best things that happened to Masuria in the lottery of Polish regions.

Although it looks like a house that is old, our Lavender House is fresh. We really wanted it to have a Masurian, rustic atmosphere, but it was comfortable and modern. Our guests appreciate this convenience.

We have 5 fresh apartments for you, which will host from 2 to 4 people. Each of them has a private bathroom and a balcony. More details about the rooms can be found next to each of them.

Our house is a boarding house, but there is no common space in the form of a living room. Couples or small families with children looking for privacy in their own rooms will find their place here. You can freely spend time together in the unfenced area around the house - we have prepared deckchairs, hammocks, a place for a barbecue and a bonfire.

Our apartment is in the same house, but has a separate entrance on the other side of the building. If you need us, we will be happy to tell you what and how.

We are not in the middle of nowhere, as you can see in the pictures, but in a quiet Masurian village. The famous Ferenstein Horse Stud is located nearby.

Our place is still being created and someday we will serve you delicious breakfasts in the dining room, but so far we are not serving meals yet.

It's not a problem to eat something tasty in the area. In the historic Hunting Manor 300 m from here, they will serve you homemade breakfasts and dinners in beautiful surroundings. Słowiczówka in Ukta is also famous for its delicious cuisine, where you can taste traditional Masurian cuisine in an equally pleasant atmosphere. Maybe you will be tempted by shale crisps or fried smelt?

Each of the apartments has a small fridge, kettle, coffee, tea, sugar, mugs, glasses and glasses.

I don't think anyone has ever been bored in Masuria. Especially in our neighborhood - in the swirl of Krutynia surrounding us on both sides, in the vicinity of the Masurian Landscape Park.

Once you enjoy the surroundings of our house, we suggest that you can:
– spend all day in a hammock or on a deckchair in a meadow,
– drink coffee with a view of the lavender field,
– make evening bonfires or afternoon barbecues with a view of the surrounding meadows,
– get acquainted with our horses and be invited for a carriage ride,
– go to yoga classes with our neighbor,
go discover the very heart of Masuria.

For starters, however, if you like horse riding, make a stop at our neighbors. It so happened that we are located right next to the famous Ferenstein Horse Stud in Gałków. Although the place itself has been in existence for 30 years, the Ferenstein family has been involved in horse riding since the 19th century. Today, about 100 horses live in the historic buildings of the stud, and you can take horse riding lessons under the supervision of qualified instructors or go on a field trip among the Masurian forests.

The nearby Krutynia River is said to be the most beautiful waterway in Poland and even in Europe. It is true that a few kayakers have already heard about it and it may be that you will meet them on the route, but there are ways to do it. You can go rafting, for example, early in the morning during the week. We will help you organize it - a company will come to pick you up, drop you off at the start and pick you up at the end of the trip. You can also sail down Krutynia in a boat steered by a raftsman.

Another secret pro tip: try homemade croissants in Ukta, which only the insiders know about. You can get to them by land, but you can also get there by water: when you flow along the Krutynia River next to a modest house in a field, you will smell waffles with jam and warm croissants. However, if the smell alone was not enough, enter in Google Maps: homemade croissants, Ukta.

If you dream of a day at the lake, you can choose from the possibilities. Klimunt, Krutyńskie, Mokre, Bełdany or Wygryńskie Lakes - we'll tell you where it's best to go to the beach, and where to a secluded place without tourists.

We will be happy to organize a carriage ride for you, so that kids can see Masurian forests and lakes from its level. In our habitat there is a stable where our draft horses live and if you feel like it, we will let your children get to know them in safe conditions. For horse riding, however, we invite you to the Ferenstein Horse Stud, which is located in the neighbourhood.

We have an extra sandpit, toys, and a safe area for children's play around, checked by our little daughter.

Don't miss a trip to the Wild Animals Park in Kadzidłowo. This is one of the few places in Poland where you can still see wild animals in conditions close to natural. The tour of the park with a guide will take you about 1.5 hours.

We will not invite you to remote work, because we do not have the Internet. It is a place of rest from digital reality.
