The Dalai Lama stayed with us, one of our houses was the residence of the president of Jelenia Góra before the war, and in the 1960s, a famous British writer lived here. Montanum's most vibrant period came when Alma Yoray arrived in the Karkonosze Mountains in the 1980s. The dancer, choreographer, and Vipassana teacher from the United States sensed a special energy in this corner of the Jizera Mountains. And you should know that she searched many places in Eastern Europe for a place to open a Buddhist meditation center. However, it was in the oldest houses in Przesieka that she led yoga workshops, tai chi workshops, and meditation classes for over two decades, and during that time, our village was visited by truly renowned figures from the Buddhist community. I remember Alma. My parents were friends with her. When she passed away, the houses in Bukowy Gaj stood empty for a decade, but today, together with Jasia, we want to breathe life back into this extraordinary place with a colorful history. We don't teach meditation ourselves, but our homes are still associated with its practice and Buddhism. We welcome groups to all kinds of workshops, for which Montanum will be a soothing backdrop – both villas have two large rooms for yoga and other activities. We also welcome families and groups of friends: we'll be an excellent base for hiking, serving delicious cuisine, and inviting you to our sauna and hot tub. We believe you'll be captivated by the tranquility of Beech Grove, which will stay with you for a long time.

You will sleep in one of the most beautiful corners of Przesieka, i.e. Bukowy Gaj. In one of two houses that have amazing stories that we do not forget and try to cherish.

Both are suitable for groups: they have modest but cozy and fresh rooms with mostly single beds, shared bathrooms and very large yoga rooms (each of them).

Guests of both houses have access to the sauna and hot tub, which are common to both villas.

Will you be hungry? Absolutely not! We regularly organize concerts and tasting dinners at Montanum. We are known for our amazing cuisine, we guarantee that the meals you get from us will be remembered for a long time. We serve mainly vegetarian dishes, made from local products. You can eat here not only breakfast, but also dinner.

We hope you will be bored, but in a positive way. You can go to the forest, sit by a mountain stream or swing in a hammock and read a book while listening to the rustling Podgórna stream. In addition, go to the mountains, because Przesieka is an excellent base, many mountain trails intersect here. Guests have at their disposal a sauna and a hot tub where you can swim in winter. If anyone would like cold water in the summer, there is a beautiful mountain stream flowing 300 meters from the place where you will live. It is also an ideal place for winter swimming.

We have not prepared special attractions for children, but if you take your kids with you on a group trip, they will definitely like it. It's hard to get bored in the Karkonosze Mountains, you just need to organize your time well.

Both houses have optical fiber, so the Internet does not disappoint us. We cordially invite you to group work-alongs. You will find work space in dining rooms or living rooms.
