Dom nad Wierzbami (Azyl tylko dla dorosłych)

Now... how about slowing down, turn off the air conditioning, open the windows and let the world inside. There is no point in rushing, because at the House of the Willows, the rhythm of life is determined by the eternal laws of nature. Sounds of the kitchen and conversations in the living room are intertwined with the sounds flowing from the Bug river jungle. You can hear birds singing, frogs singing, roaming crows, evening barks of village dogs. But the sounds of threshing in the summer or sawing wood cutting in the early spring.

In January and in February at the House on the Willows, like a teddy bear in a tavern. Warm, quiet, because the guests as a medicine. Only cats and dogs, demanding attention and caressing, enliven the deep silence. And from behind the window, from the backwaters, sometimes a steady flap of swan wings will arrive, sometimes a heron will be shouted. We lack joyful bustle during meals and evening possessions. However, you can quickly feel the breath of spring, and then the river comes to life. In the sparkling water, an otter appears, and the Bug river cows roam the river like the holy waters of the Nile.

Come for a walk at dawn in the company of a cat, the smell of bread in the morning, fresh fish on a plate and fafernuchy for dessert. We will please you as in a family home - you are welcome, important and awaited here.

Barbara Polak

How good that you are. I am waiting for you on the Bug river and I'm already putting bread in the oven. At your arrival, the house will smell of crunchy crust, or maybe a fish from the Bug, we will see what will appear on the menu. For the last 11 years I have been mainly dealing with "welcoming the sky" to guests who come to relax, to explore the wild Bug river nature, to practice handicraft and art, to apply the Italian life strike, which is so lacking in everyday life. Although it may seem that nothing is happening here, there is always something to do. And these are painting, carpentry, wickerwork, culinary workshops or those with the creation of natural cosmetics. Lively breakfast talks disturbing the silence of the morning and nature excursions to the Bug riverbanks. Between all this, like bees workers, we do a lot of preserves from vegetables, fruits and mushrooms - enchanted in jars, jars and bottles, dried and those flooded with strong liquids. Then we give, feed and taste. That's... why we're here - to make you feel good. It's not only me, but also a team of wonderful women who co-create the atmosphere of our home. One can not forget about Asia, Joasi, Wiola, Edyta, Iza, Tunde, Urszula and Ania. Welcome to our babska republic. more

we invite only cats - our dog does not accept other dogs

Where will I sleep?

Our house is your home. With all the advantages and disadvantages, rules and charms. The scent of wood and creaking floors, mosquitoes and alarm clock in the form of bird concerts and cow roars. The interiors are full of aromas from the kitchen, the work of our painters hangs on the walls, and the cats... and dog occupy the sofas. It is a house filled with warmth and history built from hundred-year-old logs, which found its new home in the Bug River wilderness.

In the old house we have for you 5 rooms with balconies and a view of the river for a total of 11 people. Two three-bed rooms and three double rooms. When you need socialization and a moment by the fireplace, we invite you to the cozy living room and to the large terrace with a view of the garden.

In 2014, we completed the construction of a new building, which we called the Gray House. It is a modernly arranged space where you can relax, integrate, use a wide range of workshops, training, educational, dance and meditation classes, including yoga, as well as

In the Gray House there is a 40-meter hall with mirrors, equipped with multimedia devices, with a wide view of the meadows and the Bug floodplains and a terrace. There is a separate kitchen and two rooms with bathrooms upstairs. One of these rooms has a large balcony facing the river, the second window overlooks the orchard.

Towels are provided on request. We change them once every 5 days (on request more often).

In our house every day we accept only adults. The principle does not apply to holidays, long weekends, family celebrations as well as culinary workshops and trips for children.

We inform allergies that animals are members of our family. We have a dog named Synek and 4 cats: Fiona, Bąbla and two young rudziaki - Józia and Rudzik. Psiarzy we have to regretfully say that our son does not tolerate other dogs in his area. In this situation, we invite only cats.

We know a lot about ecology and for many years we have been trying to live and host without harming the environment:

- We segregate waste and encourage you to follow our lead.
- We do not use chemical cleaning and protection products at home and on the farm.
- We feed you as much as we do - we use mostly products traditionally and ecologically produced by ourselves and local producers and fair trade.
- We use solar panels that heat utility water, we use energy-saving light bulbs. - We try to remember to turn off the devices. We do not iron sheets and towels.
- We limit the water

What will I eat?

The kitchen is a river for me. Broad, deep and intricate as the Bug itself. I love to help, experiment, discover old recipes and regional flavors. For the preparation of meals I use local, traditionally produced products. I pay attention to whether they are ecological and fair trade. I bake bread and... cakes myself, I process vegetables, mushrooms and fruits. This is how jams, preserves, juices, pickles and other pickles are produced, as well as wild fruit mixes for vodka, the famous Bella Rosa wine from hawthorn, Bello Nero from chokeberry and elderberry and pear cider. Everything without E additives, artificial colors and taste enhancers. I want to feed you and give you something really good. Polish cuisine, with a regional predominance, also vegetarian and vegan. The table often hosts fish from the local river. Do not be surprised when we sit down together with you - we eat together, like in a family home.

We serve breakfasts and dinners, and for an additional fee you can use a separate, fully equipped kitchen.

Because our house is in the immediate vicinity of White Kurpiowszczyzna and the cultural influences of this land have reached our village, so we often serve regional delicacies. That's why we're taking fafernuchy, broth from prunes and chives with goat cheese and herbs for the wallpaper. We also treat bream with thyme and pike, served with rustic cream and special dumplings. I will not reveal everything, because the element of surprise in the menu is a bliss.

How will I be entertained?

I invite you home for relationships, simple fun, merry faces and bliss from the doorstep. You do not have to fill the calendar with attractions, time flows along the natural course of the river, the seasons and flowering. Wild Bug and backwaters, kayaks, canoe, bicycles, wading and fishing - a bit like... in a fairy tale or a TV series about good life and good people. We are not bored, because nature provides variety. You can sit on the terrace and at any time of the year observe a different panorama of the Lower Bug Valley. We are happy to accompany you with a tincture, the wine of our own production and the stories we have accumulated a lot of.

In the spring, the river takes in, flooding the coastal meadows and islands (sometimes approaching the fencing of the plot), it retreats, in the summer season revealing sandy sandbanks, perfect for lazy sunbathing and bathing. River lanes, meanders, islands and peninsulas create a real labyrinth that is an oasis for fish and water birds, as if designed to explore it from a canoe or boat, with a fishing rod or a camera. And in winter? After a walk or march on the snow-covered meadows you can hide in the comfort of your room with a good book, or go down to the living room, set close to a burning firepl
We have 2 kayaks, canoes and bicycles prepared for you - everything on site.

We could talk about the flora and fauna of our neighborhood for hours. The alluvial forest, i.e. the wild Bug river jungle, the mud-water birds living in its depths, binoculars and the whole day from the head. We invite you to micro-tours of the Bug river with canoes and guided boats as well as educational trips around the Natura 2000 area of the Lower Bug Valley.

In the evening, when the air vibrates from the sounds of insects, birds and purrs of cats, and the sun is red for relaxation. By the fire, on the terrace with a book or in a herbal bath in a bathtub over a pool. Yes, you have to live.

We share what we have the best, so feel free to join us in the kitchen. We organize culinary workshops and discover the secrets of old regional recipes. Together, we will make preserves from fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, and maybe even manage to get the wheats.

Our Jackowo Dolne is not only a river, there are also beautiful forests within walking distance - Popowski (4 km) and Somiankowski (2 km). The road leads to them through Barcice, a village founded in the 13th century, in the center of which is one of the most valuable sacral monuments of Mazovia - a wooden Baroque church from 1758. In the village you can still see a dozen of Kurpie wooden cottages, located on a high scarp on the river.

Another attractive destination for a cycling trip may be located in the north of Pułtusk. The road to it can lead along the Bug River and the crown of the embankment along the Narew River, passing the swampy bird sanctuary Stawinoga on the way. The culmination of the escapade can be visiting Pułtusk, where there is a charm.

What's for children?

We have rules that are here to make you feel good. We respect the peace, tranquility, carelessness and carelessness of adults during their free time. That is why we only accept adults in our agritourism.

The exception to the rule are holidays, long weekends, family celebrations as well as culinary workshops...
and trips for children. Then we open our door for kids who feel like fish in the Bug, cows in the meadow and cats on the couch - that is, on the spot. Then we take them to micro-nature parks, organize educational trips with a guide, we go crazy in the kitchen during culinary workshops and give them complete freedom to madness. Usually, they spend all their days outside, playing with cats, building buildings with sticks, and counting cows grazing on the other side of the pool. They will soon have dinner and go back to the yard, because there are matters and errands. Live and not to die. more

awesome

Spedzilam ostatni tydzien sierpnia u Basi. Jest tak jak na zdjeciach-swojsko i sielankowo. Posilki na zacienionej winorosla werandzie w towarzystwie ciekawych ludzi mialy swoj niepowtarzalny urok.

awesome

Z niecierpliwością czekam na okazję by wrócić!

awesome

awesome

C U D O W N E miejsce. Odpoczęłam, miałam wenę twórczą, była cisza i ciemność piękna i szum i trawy i krowy...

awesome

Pozdrawiamy, Ewa i Piotr.

awesome
