In the beautiful, historic Cretan city of Chania, in the heart of the Old Town, you will find a house at Melidoni 29. One that tells the story of the Venetian age of the island's history. Its construction dates back to the 17th century and you can count on the original style of a Venetian town house.

And knowing this date already, it won't surprise you when we tell you that our historic house is over three hundred years old. My husband, an architect, made sure that all the old elements were kept untouched during the renovation.... But he also added and enriched them with others, such as antique Greek mirrors and old wardrobes from France. We are also proud to announce that we have for you also a patio full of plants. Here you can eat and relax in the shade of strelitzia and olive trees. And count the balcony overlooking the sea and the local Saturday vegetable and fruit market within easy reach. Finally, as it is on an island, there is a short 5-minute walk to the nearest beach - Koum Kapi.

We have created an authentic Cretan vibe and a house that has become our family home. We are putting it in your hands so you can also experience the charm of Chania. We trust that you will take care of it during your stay and overwhelm it with love.

Our house, is an old historic building with ground floor and 2 storyes.

1st floor: 2 bedrooms (one with a larger single bed and one with two single beds), a kitchen which exits onto the patio,
2nd floor: living room - with a giant sofa, upholstered in local traditional fabrics - a good place to work or spend time in the evening. There is also a bathroom with shower and a small balcony.

ATTENTION!
We have an old wooden staircase at our house, which can be problematic for people with mobility problems and for small guests.
We're in the heart of the city, so if you're looking for a quiet place, you should try something different.

PARKING
We park on the Minosa Street, the exception being on Friday as there is a large local market on this street on Saturday.

On the first floor there is a beautiful kitchen with two fridges, an old marble sink and a small cooking station. There is also a coffee machine to accompany you. And from the kitchen you go straight out onto the magical terrace.

On Saturdays, we recommend the local market on the street next door, where you can buy fresh local produce.

Monuments, museums, beaches, places... Tiny atmospheric streets, alleys, ancient buildings.... Chania's rich history even invites you to discover the city's secrets, novels linked to Minoan civilisation, Venice, the Turks....
