Smolnik is a picturesque village through which the Osława River meanders. Its name comes from the old tar factories where wood was burned. A brick Orthodox church from 1806 and a few Lemko houses have survived in the village. The name of our place - Zadnie Łuki comes from the name of the area according to old Lemko maps, on which we built our estate. This is a place for people who like dried bouquets of herbs hanging on the walls, clay pots, wooden, hand-made furniture, breathtaking views, peace and quiet, and the countryside is closer to them than anyone else. When you come here, you will find beautiful nature, you may be woken up by the roar of deer, you will see deer coming to the windows, horses running in the meadows, beautiful sunrise and sunset. You only go here once, then you want to keep coming back...

Here Slowhop will describe your place

Bored and tired of the big city life, we decided to quit everything and go to the Bieszczady Mountains. We came across a plot of land called Zadnie Łuki on the old maps and we already knew that this was it. We built a nice house for our whole family, but the kids fled to other places and so we were left alone. In order not to waste such views and spaces, we decided to invite people to us and share what we have with them. Come for delicious vegetarian cuisine and the rest of the story that we will tell you over a crackling fire.

I could write about the kitchen here for a long time. It's best to just come and try it for yourself, actually on your tongue. Vegetarian cuisine reigns supreme here, there are also vegan dishes, and one thing that is certain is that you will not find a gram of meat here. But carnivores have nothing to worry about. The ideas that the hostess implements are beyond human comprehension. Pates, pastes, vegetables, soups, salads, casseroles - that's how we'll leave it here :) We cook everything ourselves, from scratch, most often from products that we have grown ourselves in the garden or greenhouse. We also bake bread and make herbal teas from herbs found in the surrounding, ecological meadows (farm with an ecological certificate). Number one is thyme tea, and in winter ask for a warming one with orange. Breakfast and a hot dinner are additionally payable. We will also prepare special dishes for raw foodists, gluten-free people, allergy sufferers and other people in need (PLN 10 surcharge). There is a kitchen at guests' disposal, where you will find coffee and tea, which you can make at any time. We will prepare the rest. To make it easier for you, let's give an example: - breakfast a large portion of rich, warm oatmeal, homemade bread, baked pâtés, vegetable pastes, homemade preserves and vegetables from the organic garden, herbal teas - a warm one-course dinner vegetable stew/potatoes, cutlet, salad/groats, cutlet, salad, etc. and herbal tea

Even though we are in a remote area, a lot is happening here. First of all, we organize vegetarian events all year round. There is a lot of food, feasting and talking together. Second, we are the center of soul and body. We are often visited by workshop groups (yoga, tai chi, qi gong), there are also concerts and sound massages using gongs and Tibetan bowls. You can completely reset and forget about the world. Third, you can hide in a bookcase, lie in a hammock, jump into the pool or light a fire. There is also something for those who are more active. We present a few suggestions: - Bicycles - unfortunately we do not have them, but you can rent them in Chryszczata's Farm in Smolnik or in Dołżyca (10 minutes by car). If you come with yours, there will be a place to store them in our house. In the area, we have beautiful mountain bike routes, along streams, forest, partly paved. Nearby there is a bicycle route Transborder: Moszczaniec - Kalinov. There is a bicycle trail running along the Osława valley, along the route of which you can admire the Lemko churches in Radoszyce, Wisłok Wielki, Komańcza, Rzepedź and Turzańsk. The Carpathian Bicycle Trail from Jaśliska to Cisna also runs along the main Carpathian road. - Skis - the nearest ski lift is 25 km from our habitat. It is 1,200 m long. It is a double T-bar lift, the slope is illuminated. Blue and red route. There is also a single T-bar for beginners. On site you will find ski equipment rental, driving instructors and catering facilities. You need to reach the cross-country ski runs about 35 - 40 km. - Mushrooms - our habitat is located right next to the mixed forest. Most often we find rigs, mushrooms and boots in it. In addition to mushrooms, blackberries can be harvested. - Hiking - the vicinity of Smolnik and the Komańcza commune is a great place for shorter and longer walks. We have here the hiking trail of Dobre Wojak Szwejk, which runs from the border with Slovakia (the Radoszycka Pass) through Komańcza to Sanok. The entire Bieszczady Mountains are waiting for lovers of mountain pastures and climbing. - Horses - the Transbeskidzki PTTK horse trail runs through the border, along the Osława valley through Duszatyń, Prełuki to Komańcza. - Massages - Lovers of relaxation are cordially invited to massages. The combination of attentive touch with the energy of the place will bring you into a state of deep relaxation, thanks to which even deeper harmony and well-being will return to the body and soul. Other attractions for active people are, for example, quads, fishing. In the center of the valley, on a hill, there is a brick Orthodox church. Relics of St. Nicholas from 1806. Inside, an iconostasis from the beginning of the 20th century has been preserved. Nineteenth century, three side altars, interesting polychromes. There is a brick belfry in the cemetery next to the church. While in Smolnik, you must visit the shepherd's hut, where large herds of sheep are kept and you can buy excellent sheep bundz and oscypek cheese. Also in the summer season, the forest railway runs from Majdan via Balnica and Wola Michowa were resumed. The Bieszczady Mountains, seen from the windows of the car, seem completely different to us. Walking through Smolnik, we can see a few more old Lemko huts, and there are not many repairs of them in the region.

Here Slowhop will describe your attractions. If you want, you can also fill it in or edit the text.

Our address: Smolnik 48, Smolnik , Bieszczady Mountains, Poland

Translated by Google Translate.

The guesthouse is situated on a charming hill, near the village of Smolnik. Access to our property is from the direction of Komańcza. For example, from Krakow it is best to go through Tarnów, Krosno, in Miejsce Piastowe turn right to Barwinek / road E371 /, then in Tylawa turn left and go to Cisna / road 897 /, in Komańcza, after the railway viaduct, turn right - continue along this road to Cisna, we pass straight ahead - Radoszyce, then Osławica and about 200 meters before the mobile telephone transmitter and turn to Nowy Łupków. In front of the forest, there will be a gravel road to the left and this is only the road to our property, it will be visible from the asphalt, on a hill about 1000m. From the side of Rzeszów, it is best to go through Sanok - Bukowsko - Szczawne and Komańcza, and then as above or from Sanok through Zagórz and Komańcza.

Oczekiwalismy jednak takiego „Full experience”.
