You will wake up in the middle of the forest , where you will hear only the birdsong, the graceful footsteps of the doe legs, and the quiet crunch of a damn bark beetle. But instead of a cloth "ac", you will wake up in a spacious, literally command tent. Take a hot shower, have breakfast luxury delicacies from local sources, and then enjoy a cup of hot fragrant coffee deep relaxation by looking into the greenish needles and the beautiful scenery of the Eagle Mountains.

For example, a freshly prepared, crispy and delicious , prepared "above-standard continental breakfast " prepared from local ingredients. Before you wake up, you will have it ready in the kitchen in front of the tent. To do this, you can prepare fragrant filtered coffee , which comes from a roastery in Kostelec nad Labem, where it is hand-packaged by people with disabilities. We leave families with a looser hand at breakfast, so they will find a full pantry in the equipped kitchen with stove. There are only goodies in it: homemade eggs, coffee, tea, milk, yoghurt butter, muesli, cheese, cold cuts… and herbs you can pick yourself in our garden.
Our pantry will feed you even during the day. For a voluntary fee you will find: potatoes, pasta, rice, savory and sweet treats, beer, wine and soft drinks.
Every camping after a day of walking arouses the taste of a proper flame-beaten meat loaf , so for the evening's comfort, we recommend lighting a fire and starting a barbecue. Although we invite you to the wild forest nature, the tent is located on the grounds of our homestead, so no one should disturb you there. Maybe just a stray mushroom picker. The forest is interwoven with interesting hiking trails and you can connect to easy bike trails nearby.
When you get tired of the trees, take a trip to the town of Žamberk, sometimes also called the "gateway to the Eagle Mountains". The village, which dates back to the 14th century, was a center of crafts and especially lacemaking . Even today, the town of Žamberk is probably the only one where lace is taught at the local elementary art school. The lace superstar is Marie Poludová (* 1945), whose creations adorn the Žamberk town hall and the wedding hall. You can make the walk through the city special by visiting the museum, walking through the mysterious Jewish cemetery and listening to the Divoká Orlice gorge.
You will feel like honor at the castle of the Parish family . The Renaissance building with Baroque, Rococo and Art Nouveau elements is surrounded by an English park, which is followed by a game park. Take a walk as soon as your foot passes and try to find the sundial and the stone pool with the statue of the lake nymph. There are a number of castles in the area, so if it's your passion, you'll miss it.
If you are also looking for spiritual food in our region, head to the pilgrimage site of Neratov . Since the 17th century, pilgrims have gone to pray to the love statue of the Virgin Mary and see the spring that springs from the church. The original church burned down in 1945 due to the intervention of the Red Army. The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is being repaired slowly, carefully and gradually, as much as is sufficient. In 2007 it received the famous glass roof , since 2013 the liturgical equipment has been gradually added and in 2018 the newly built facade gave the church its original Baroque appearance. The church is open all the time and never closes. Because, as the pastor Josef Suchár says: "What about churches that are closed."
The best way to look around is from Anenského hill. Until 1937, there was a chapel with a lookout tower, which fell before the Second World War due to the construction of heavy fortifications. To this day, you can see the Arnošt and Anna bunkers here. It was not until 2010 that a lookout tower was built here, this time a wooden one. It was named after St. Anne, the patron saint of the Eagle Mountains.

A 4.5 km long nature trail leads from Žamberk to Kunvald. It has a total of 9 stops and introduces children to a number of attractions, flora, fauna, but also with some important natives of the region, such as Prokop Diviš, the inventor of the lightning rod.
In Rychnov nad Kněžnou, in addition to the indoor pool , the film festival, the Poláček Summer Theater Festival, the chateau and the synagogue, the Toy Museum is also waiting for you. Did you know that, for example, duckling or yo-yo dates back to antiquity and children played with them in ancient Greece? Porcelain (sometimes scary) dolls, trains, tin soldiers and soaked mechanical toys will captivate children and parents, who may even have a nostalgic tear on their faces.
