Willa Tadeusz

First there was a forester's lodge here, only later Tadeusz Lorenz senior began to expand the house. The first guests were the families of his fellow legions. We obtained the status of a guesthouse in 1924 and thanks to grandfather Tadeusz we never lost it. The pre-war guesthouse now Willa Tadeusz has its own style and history. However, there are no bathrooms in the rooms and we inform about it at the beginning. The house is too old for that, so we have placed bathrooms on the ground floor. Also on the ground floor there is a very atmospheric dining room with a warm stove, an antique piano and old sideboards and a large glass veranda overlooking the garden. Probably the oldest Polish hotel library is also located here.

In the guesthouse we serve delicious breakfasts, no less delicious lunches and dinners. You can taste our breads, cakes and homemade dumplings, cold meats and preserves such as jams, compotes, pickles and pickles.   Meal serving hours:  Breakfast from 8:00-10:00 Lunch from 13:30-15:00 Dinner/Lunch 17:00-18:00 Please order meals for the day of arrival at least one day in advance. Other meals can be arranged every day at breakfast time.  So you don't have to go anywhere, and if you do, we know a few addresses that are worth visiting in Lanckorona. Our guests especially praise Cafe Arka - a cult place in Lanckorona.

Lanckorona is a 12th century village, unlike any other. It does not impose itself very much, for many it is just another place on the way to Krakow. But if someone stops for a moment, even by accident, they will notice that it is different here. For years, Lanckorona has been inhabited by artists and restless spirits who draw energy from the view of the Tatra Mountains and Babia Góra. You can see in Lanckorona and its vicinity: - Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, a pilgrimage complex, as the only calvary in the world entered on the UNESCO list - at the top of Lanckorońska Mountain, you can see the ruins of Kazimierzowski Castle - Castle in Sucha Beskidzka, a beautiful renaissance residence known as the Little Wawel - Tavern "Rzym" in Sucha Beskidzka (the one from Twardowski and the zirograph) - Góra Chełm with bicycle routes, chairlift and a sofa - 10 minutes by car from us is the ski slope "Szklana Góra" - Market square in Lanckorona with unique wooden buildings, and a museum on the square What to experience, what to experience? - in mid-December, the "Angel in the Miasteczko" festival, the largest rally of angels in Poland, takes place on the atmospheric market square - come to Cafe Pensjonat for one of the concerts - eat apple pie at Cafe Arka - take part in the rally of vintage cars - in August, come to the Romantic Lanckorona, festival of lovers - and in June at the St. John's Fair
