About 40 km from Warsaw, there is a place that nobody expects to be there. Some call it "Masuria near Warsaw", others "Warsaw Bieszczady". One thing is for sure - it is beautiful, magical and close to nature. And it is here, among the trees of the Masovian forests, that the Goat Farm was established.
At the edge of the forest, there is a log house and a Mongolian yurt. Goats roam the area and work to feed the town with delicious cheese and yoghurt in the season. We have cats on the terrace that show you how to stretch out in the sun. Dogs follow owners and guests, suggesting that they could use some affection. And then it is like in this idyllic film that everyone has watched at least once. Birds are singing among the trees, bees are buzzing in the garden with vegetables and herbs, the spider is weaving a web in the corner and it doesn't care that they've come to town. We can't help it, that's how it is.
We invite you to a place that's all about delicious food, long walks in the forest, a nap in a hammock, a book that there was no time to read before, and an evening relaxation in a hot tub.
Come on over.
In the middle of the forest, in a clearing, where, even though it is a stone's throw to Warsaw, you cannot feel it. Instead, you can smell pine trees, resin and fresh grass. There is silence, peace of mind.
And here, dear Slowhopers, we put the STOP sign! Because ... We are a family with an active farm, which means that we are far from several-star hotels. Honestly...? We do not care about it, because the essence of agritourism is to observe everyday rural life. We don't have perfectly trimmed lawns - of course we would like to, but ... we usually don't have enough time for that. We are in permanent, creative development, which means that we constantly change something, improve or ... that's the only belief we have 🙂 We want to tell you that you will not find a single gram of a hotel pretending to be agritourism with us. Get ready to experience the real, farm reality of your home. Sure, we try to favor your heaven when you visit our house, but ... we don't have bathrobes, great shower gels, when it rains, there are puddles (take your rain boots with you), mosquitoes buzz (we have mosquito nets), dogs are barking, cats look at the windows and in autumn mice prepare a plan to safely winter
If you want to visit us, we have for you:
- an atmospheric log house with access to a Russian bathhouse, a forest terrace and an "summer" outdoor kitchen
- a cozy large wooden Bat house with two bedrooms, each with a bathroom, a spacious living room, an additional bathroom and the possibility of cooking
A tiny cottage-style cottage is located adjacent to a goat's farm and a garden; tiny house is a simple, clay-finished house for two people, where you will feel like on an idyllic holiday like in the old days - nature, silence, and only what is necessary, i.e. a double bed, bathroom, fridge. The cottage has an exit to the terrace where you can drink your morning coffee and watch the stars in the evening.
The house with the Russian banya has an open layout - downstairs there is a living room with a fireplace with a large window and a view of the forest, and 4 people sleep under the sloping roof on the mezzanine; downstairs a double sofa bed.
The Bat House with two spacious bedrooms and an outdoor terrace is designed in a farmhouse style. It will provide comfort and space for meetings not only for groups of friends but also for workshop groups.
The Mongolian yurt is a secluded, round "house" made of canvas stretched on a wooden skeleton with a comfortable double bed, lined with soft fabrics, with discreet lighting, and of course with a wood-burning fireplace.
We focus on renewable energy sources and ecology. In winter, early spring and late autumn, our guests always enter warm rooms. There are fireplaces in our houses (except Tiny House), but you have to burn them yourself (we have prepared firewood, which you do not need to chop, but if you want to fight an ax, let me know :) we will prepare an instruction and a fully functional hatchet).
We invite only adults and, because of our animals, with great regret - no dogs or cats.
We live in harmony with nature and we also cook. We don't like chemicals, enhancers. Without them, food can also be delicious and much healthier at the same time. That is why our dishes are vegetarian, based on traditional recipes and natural products:
-we have our own organic vegetables
- goat specialties: milk, yoghurt, cheese (in the season, i.e. from May to October ale
ATTENTION! In the season 2021/2022, due to the reduction of the herd and rest of the remaining goats, there will be no yoghurt or milk, while cheese will be in a very limited amount)
- eggs from our quite satisfied free hens
- various varieties (old, unique) of apples, pears, plums, orchard cherries
On our table you will find various delicacies, but only those that meet the basic principle: it should be ecological, seasonal and agritourist. What we do for ourselves on a given day will be on your plate, but we are open to suggestions (notified in advance).
For dinners we invite you to our friendly Golden Fleece - a la carte dishes (catering meals on weekdays) on site and with delivery to us.
Dear Slowhopers!
Cooking is a pleasure for us, but since we cook for you personally, we must point out that:
* in exceptional life / random situations, we may not be able to prepare meals
We believe that every nature lover will find something for himself. There are a lot of ideas: it can be relaxing in Ruska Bania (a form of sauna derived from the Russian tradition - a Russian bathtub, it is not a hot barrel), a hot barrel (hot water tub - heated with wood), cycling, walking in the woods , stroking goats and pets, autumn mushroom picking, resting in a hammock with a book, talking to the hosts and friends, joint picnics and barbecue evenings.
In addition to the sauna and barrel, we have more attractions for hedonists, namely a forest spa. And in it:
-massages, incl. hormonal, Ayurvedic
-reflexology of the face and feet
- face care treatments
- facial yoga
Attention! Before booking a seat, ask what is available on the date you are interested in
There is also quite a lot going on on the farm. The hosts' friends and acquaintances conduct art workshops, such as stained glass, carpentry, and yoga classes. There are trainings on how to deal with stress and what else anyone else can think of. But be careful! all workshops are made to order - prior reservation must be taken into account
We do not have bikes, but the bicycle routes are fantastic, so we recommend two-wheeled fans :)
When it comes to nearby attractions, we definitely recommend kayaking on the Pilica or Lake Czerski.
What’s there for children?
We wanted to create a place that would be a haven of peace and quiet, an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and all noises. A place for morning meditation, yoga, sunbathing with a book in a hammock, relaxing with a glass of wine, a romantic weekend for two or a regenerative meeting with friends. That is why we apologize to all the kids, but only adults are invited to our agro-glamping
What’s there for employees?
Working from home with a Russian tub makes you want to do your job as soon as possible. You can work at a six-person table or on the couch next to it. In the Bat House you will find an eight-seater table in the living room and a sofa and armchairs right next to the fireplace. At your request, we can put small desks or laptop pads in the bedroom. Everything for your comfort! At Tiny house we have a small table inside and outside. And if working from a bed or sofa sounds as encouraging to you as it does to us, don't hesitate any longer and book the date in your calendar.
