The story of Inga's Wooden House and Eliška's Studio began about fifteen years ago, when Inga bought a historic wooden house and started remodeling it for herself and her son. A few years later, the architect Eliška joined her, who, after returning from Greece, built a small housing studio from the original woodworks. And today we want to share these two magical places with you. Listen to the conversation between a traditional building and a new extension, between modern elements and traditional ones. We kept what was possible and where it seemed right to us, we tried it with the news. In the wooden house and in the studio, there is a lot of custom-made furniture, recycled old pieces, or new ones made using older elements. We are very happy that we managed to preserve a number of objects from the past, and at the same time we were able to supplement the space with artistic or craft artifacts. All in order to create the right (not wasted), pleasant (use natural building materials in the studio) and an inspiring environment.
Cottage Motyčky on the bank of the reservoir grew up as a project of a group of friends who (almost) self-built on the site of the original house of the founder Anton Motyčka comfortable large cottage, which can accommodate a flock of avid tourists, families with children or convinced ski alpinists.
