Whoever comes to us praises the incredible, healing peace. But this was not always the case here on the rabbit. In the 1930s, the line of Czechoslovak fortifications was established here with the effort of human forces. The Králická fortress area formed one of the strongest fortified sections of Czechoslovakia before World War II. world war. 247 fortifications and kilometers of obstacles against tanks and enemy infantry protected our territory. It thus remains a memory of human devotion and a time when Europe has failed to rally together against the impending evil.
When it gets dark at night, the wood begins to tell stories that have been carried among the foliage for decades. Legends of brave men who survived many nights and days in the local forests to protect our country. In a tree house, go to bed together, flood the stove, turn off the lanterns, and listen to the pine walls that share stories of human bravery, determination, and perseverance.
Narration and perfect surrounding nature will grab your heart. Try to spend a holiday outside of civilization for once and experience a return to your roots. And you don't have to ride alone. Our treehouse accommodates 4 people, but your friends can pitch tents on the adjacent meadow.
I built this tree house with a bunch of friends in less than two months. We were mainly inspired by French designs, but we still adapted everything to our image. Such as the classic Czech shingle roof. We used a beautiful light pine from the local forests to build a treehouse. That's why it's so cozy with us.
So that you can enjoy summer and winter in the tree house, the walls are honestly insulated and a powerful Norwegian cast iron stone is placed in the middle of the room. We have chopped wood for you, so you will have it almost without work. Even in winter you can sit in a pleasant 25 ° C. (For eternal ice cream, however, we have warm sleeping bags in the house.)
couples and whole families come to us. You will sleep comfortably in a wide double bed, while the children only have a bunk bed for themselves. The light of the lanterns depicts a fairytale spectacle on the high ceiling, which will put you and your children to sleep.
You can also take a bunch of friends with you. All you have to do is bring caravans or tents , which they can set up on a large meadow right next to your tree house. The background of the house (toilet, shower, fireplace) can be used with you.
Although we do not have running water or electricity, we can manage and arrange a comfortable holiday for you. The shower with washbasin is located very close to the house. If you do not like modern hardening, you can easily heat the water. The Treehouse is equipped with fluffy towels and comfortable bathrobes, so you can easily walk out of the shower.
The dry toilet is located next to the clog. It is far enough for you to have privacy and close enough so that the children are not afraid to bounce in the evening.
Even your four-legged pets will enjoy above-standard comfort. They have their own style shed .
The mornings in our tree house are beautiful. Instead of an annoying alarm clock, you will be awakened by the melodious birdsong, squirrel crunch or wind blowing through the leaves. The moment you open your eyes, a rich breakfast awaits you. You can roll the breakfast basket upstairs and enjoy a morning together in bed, on a wooden terrace or among the mature trees.
For breakfast we prepare homemade egg spread, butter, ham, salami, cheese, juice, fresh pastries, fruits, vegetables… just about anything you can taste in the morning. You can make fresh coffee or tea yourself in the kitchenette. Although there is no running water, you can always have a canister with enough drinking water ready at hand.
The kitchenette is also equipped for basic cooking with utensils and a two-burner stove. However, there are several good restaurants in nearby Králíky (5 km from us), so if you don't want to wash the dishes in the sink after eating, head to town.
It is simply impossible to imagine camping without a blazing fire. That's why there is a fireplace with full barbecue equipment right in front of the treehouse. We have also built a spacious shelter with a fireplace on the adjacent meadow, where you can enter with friends. On request, we will provide you with smoked bacon, sausages, a fabulously used belly or neck from our butcher . Loads of trout from local nurseries gather the most praise.
When it gets dark and you get a taste for a glass of something bubbly or sharper, you can peek into our chilled wine shop and minibar right in the tree house. You will find quality wines, prosecco, beer and other alcoholic and soft drinks.
The surroundings of Treehouse Sněžník are interwoven with cycle paths and trails for hiking trips . You don't have to be afraid to put yourself in the body, because in the evening a well-deserved reward awaits your tired muscles: a cedar sauna in the shape of a barrel . There is no better feeling than on a summer night to run hot from the sauna and run through the trees as God created you, or take an ice shower nicely in the air. For the more shy of you, of course, we have scented bathrobes ready.
We are located directly in the area of the Králický Sněžník Nature Park . It is the third highest mountain range in the Czech Republic and there is no shortage of beautiful views and breathtaking natural formations. But the most beautiful thing about it is the silence. When you climb to the top, from where you can see the Eagle Mountains, Hrubý Jeseník (and sometimes the Giant Mountains and Beskydy Mountains), you are completely silent. Let the beneficial peace work on you for as long as possible - it heals.
Discover the secrets of the Tvarožná díra cave, where, according to a 17th century legend, Italian gold diggers hid their tools. Be careful at Patzelt's cave, so that you do not end up as its discoverer, the forest guide Řehoř Patzelt, who fell into it. You can soak up the energy of the gurgling stream at the Milk Spring, which is part of the nature trail.
If you promised your children or your wife that you would go to the sea this year, you can twist it elegantly at the Swallow Stones. This rock formation near the border with Poland is surrounded by large boulders called the "Stone Sea". And they have to admit that to you.
Nearby bunkers are talking about a fighting game. If you are interested in history, visit the Military Museum Králíky , where you will learn details about all the surrounding infantry cabins and artillery forts. You can also walk them along your axis. The nearest infantry cabin K-S 5 "U potoka" is only 50 meters away from our treehouse.
Lovers of healthy exercise will benefit from the nearby sports complex. There you can enjoy the tennis court, football pitch, basketball, hockey or trampolines. If you like trying something new and fun, we recommend "bubble football", ie football in an inflatable bubble.
You don't have to worry about sports equipment. Not far from us there is a rental shop where you can choose a mountain bike, scooter, skis or cross-country skis. In addition, we have in the house for rent bobsleighs and sledges for children and snowshoes for adults.
The Dolní Morava ski resort offers you up to 12 km of beautiful slopes of various difficulties in the season. In addition, 2 cable cars, 3 lifts and the possibility of night skiing. For experienced riders and jumpers, there is also a professional cross track and a track with obstacles and jumps. You can jump to the nearest cross-country ski trail about 2 km from the Treehouse, or drive directly to the Jesenice highway.
We still can't decide if winter or summer is more beautiful with us. So you better come twice so that you don't miss something.
What’s there for children?
It's hard to say what children love most here. Running through the trees , fooling around in the meadow, telling stories in a tree house, adventurous showering, toasting ....
If we omit the classic argument about who will sleep on the upper bunk, then our children of all ages are really very satisfied. Those schoolchildren will inevitably have some information about military history and nature in their heads, the younger ones will enjoy the endless space for running and fooling around.
During a trip to Králický Sněžník, don't forget to stop at the statue of an elephant from 1932. The children love it and happily caress its trunk for good luck. (You caress him for sure. You never know.)
In winter, you can enjoy sledding and bobsledding together. For ski beginners , the Amálka ski school is ready in Lower Moravia, where children will learn the first curves.
