Dzika Łania w Szczyrku

In a house that is like a lookout tower on Szczyrk, Skrzyczne and Beskid. Hence, from an altitude of 850 m above sea level, you have an unobstructed panorama of the surrounding area. Dzika Doe is a small speck in the meadow, just outside the forest. Well, maybe not so small, because the house has 4 floors and a lot of square meters, but what is it compared to the size of Klimczok, whose top towers over the house. The plot is not fenced, because we do not want to take away the natural environment and pasture for deer and deer, this is their place. So if you come with dogs, you must keep an eye on them. Especially puppies in the type of Yorkie or Maltese. We have a nest of hawks among the trees on our plot, which also hunt in this area. In terms of neighbors, we have two - one below us - we are looking at the top of its roof. A bit from us we have a second cottage - a summer cottage. It's in sight, but we don't disturb each other. The layout of the house is as follows. On the ground floor: - a large main living room with a comfortable huge sofa/corner sofa, TV, fireplace, combined with a large kitchen and a dining room with a table for 8 people - this is a place for joint meetings, here we eat, spend time, talk, celebrate evenings, sit together. There is also an exit to a large stone terrace with furniture. Upstairs: - a guest room with a double bed and a single sofa bed, an open bathroom with a shower and access to a sheltered terrace with sun loungers, - the second room has a double bed, bathroom with shower and exit to the terrace. On the second floor: - up the stairs you will reach the second living room (it is 7 m high, with a mezzanine) with brown sofas, tv and a small kitchenette, which we usually use to make coffee and serve afternoon tea. From this floor there is a wonderful view of the entire Szczyrk. You're just looking at the city from up high. - On this floor there is also a double bedroom connected to a large bathroom with bath, toilet and bidet. On the mezzanine: - winding stairs lead to the top, and here we have a space for children lined with a hotel carpet with table football, a projector, a children's corner with games, lego and a work desk, - a room with a single bed (mattress on the floor), - a room with a double mattress, - shared bathroom with shower and unearthly view. We have a heated floor in the house. In the building next to the house there is a yoga room equipped with mats and space for a gym (during the summer)

Two kitchens are better than one. The house has a large, fully equipped kitchen with an island on the ground floor and a kitchenette next to the living room on the second floor. The main kitchen is used for cooking, serving meals in the dining room or on the terrace, feasting, breakfast and spending evenings together. The kitchenette next to the living room on the 2nd floor is a pick for the lazy. Here we make coffee when we don't feel like going down the stairs, we serve afternoon tea, we keep snacks for a little hunger. If you are hungry, you do not want to cook, and you do not want to get into the car, you have to climb the mountain. To the PTTK Shelter in Klimczok or to Uncle Tom's Cottage. You can also take a home dinner at the neighboring Agrotourism Kosajonka or go to Szczyrk, where you can choose from, to suit your color.

Here, at an altitude of 850 meters above sea level. we have too much entertainment. You can just sit on the couch and watch Skrzyczne. You can spend the entire trip at heights without going down to the city. Green summer slopes or illuminated skiers, on cloudless days look for the Tatra Mountains, peek at Babia Góra and what is up in the Beskid Mountains. You can sunbathe on the terraces, drink coffee and eat cake, watch deer, foxes and hares in the surrounding clearings and squint your eyes in search of hunting hawks. The meadow around the house is perfect for sunbathing, focusing, and sledging in winter. You can also take a deep breath, because the house is above the smog line. So you can take a look at the smog situation in Szczyrk and enjoy the clean air. A surprise for cavers - on the plot we have a private cave at Jakubiec, which was examined and described by local cavers. Only experienced, secured cavers can enter it, at their own risk. So if you know what and how, you have powers, and it's not your first time, you can delve into the topic. It is 83 meters long, about 13 meters deep. The passage of the main line is easy, the side lines are sometimes troublesome (tight). Due to the crumbling of the walls, it is recommended to install insurance in the entrance well. We recommend going to the top of Klimczok, which is about 2.5 km away. There you can eat in the hostel and go home to relax. A 10-minute walk separates you from the point "On Five Roads", this is where 5 hiking trails to the mountains spread. You can walk from here to Klimczok, Uncle Tom's Chata, Beskid, Magura, Trzy Kopce, Szyndzielnia, Stołów, Palenica. You can also reach Skrzyczne from the peaks. Without going downhill to the city, you will reach the highest peak of the Silesian Beskids along the ridges of the mountains. This is an all-day trip, not for newbies, but worth a try. There are trail maps at home, so plan ahead and hit the road. We are always happy to advise you where to go. For those with children in carriers and hardcore fans, we will advise them according to their needs and skills. In winter you know, sleds, skis, snowball fights, mulled wine and film screenings. Time can be divided, on a sunny day sledging on the hill next to the house, and in the evening, when most people are already going home, go for night skiing in the Beskid Mountains. Of course, you can also choose Skrzyczne for skiing or stay still and admire the views from the upper living room. If by some miracle you want to go down the slope of Klimczok, it is worth going to Żywieckie Lake - you can surf, you can go kayaking, to Bielsko for the castle, or to the Czech and Slovak neighbors. However, this usually fails. When you get upstairs, I don't want to leave.
