Two girls are sitting by the pond, digging their feet in the water, and it occurs to them that they could build a design cabin there, where they could go. And one more that they will rent.
And a few years later, Martina Svobodová and Monika Bruknerová are standing in Krabčice near Jaroměř. On 7.5 hectares of large land, on which lie two ponds, a forest and a meadow, small refuges, hidden from the world, are already in their heads. It started with an innocent idea, ending with a plan to indulge dozens of people, immersed in office chairs, with leaf therapy and chirping.
At the moment, there are 2 caravans, 3 sittings and 1 cottage in the Krabčice complex, which completely blend in with the surrounding nature. They are far enough apart for everyone to enjoy that lost sense of complete privacy, yet close enough to the village so that vacationers do not feel like exiles. Here, trade the frantic pace for timelessness, staring at e-mails for looking at the clouds, and catching the bus for dancing across the meadow. It may sound trivial, but it's not without reason that glamping is gaining popularity around the world.
Nature + comfort = glamping
Come to us for the wait. Stay in one of the 3 design poses and wait ... until all the accumulated stress and burdensome thoughts get out of your body. Watch the nature through the giant window, the soothing waves of the trees and sometimes even the animal.
Each posed has a comfortable bed with sheep wool duvets. Even the biggest sleepers will finally rest in such a way. There is silence and darkness outside. Even thanks to absolute darkness without light smog, you can enjoy the starry sky and switch off completely. Slow Travel as it should be.
Hygiene care is carried out in a natural spirit. There is an epic sink in which you can heat water and at the sitting area there is a bag with water, which serves as a shower. The water in it is heated by the sun, so when it is under a cloud, it hardens. The dry toilet is hidden among the trees and the typical creak of its door will awaken in your head long-forgotten memories of children's adventures.
POSED LIŠÁK
We built a fox on the edge of our beautiful meadow. From the window you watch the meander of the Běluňka stream. In the open space there is a kitchenette and a modest sitting area. You can come here for two and enjoy the wonderful romance. If you have a baby, feel free to come in three! You will fit in, you will live, you will calm down. But we also accommodate loner foxes. The local peace provides the right inspiration for completing the novel or preparing a business plan for next year. We have wi-fi for such workers.
POSED VÁŽKA
Whenever we watched dragonflies in elegant motion on the shore of our large pond, with a noble luster of precious metals, we felt like we were in a state of deep meditation. And that's why we invented another posed so that its majestic window faces the surface of the pond. In the window there is a pleasant sitting area, in the space there is also a great armchair and a kitchenette. You will find comfortable sleeping under the roof, which is also equipped with a large window for romantic star watching. You won't find Wi-Fi here. There is so much beauty all around that you won't care what is being solved on the networks.
POSED LEDŇÁČEK
Dark elegance among the trees, posed with a picturesque covered terrace - this is our Kingfisher. Sleep extends all the way out of the sitting area, so you can see the beautiful nature through the large window immediately after waking up. It's just a balm for the soul.
We promised you that no one here would disturb you. And neither do we, when every morning at dawn we quietly like ropes towards your seat to treat you to a wonderful rich breakfast made from local ingredients. You can enjoy breakfast in nature, or on cold mornings in the duvets with a view outside.
Make coffee or tea on the gas stove in the small kitchen inside. A part of the kitchen is also a refrigerator, which we have pre-equipped with goodies from our pantry. On those days when you don't want to go anywhere, they will definitely come in handy.
The whole area of Krabčice is a wonderful place for walks and wandering. As soon as the greenery starts to grow over your head, set out to explore the surroundings. It is full of beauties.
GRANDMA'S VALLEY AND PLEASURE
North of Česká Skalica is the beautiful Babiččino údolí. You will be welcomed by a sandstone sculpture by Ota Gutfreund, you will walk:
nature trail,
the Empire chateau Ratibořice, in which the princess lived,
Old Bleach with Museum and
a raft, during which Viktorka went completely insane.
If you gave up a holiday by the sea this year, you don't have to mourn. The Rozkoš Dam also has a natural, seaside atmosphere. You can fish, surf and fool around on inflatable boats.
KUKS
After a sports afternoon, you can go on a slightly more ticklish trip. Sculptural allegories of vices and virtues by Matyáš Braun keep you on the terrace in front of the hospital in Kuks. In the vicinity of the Baroque statues, there are still three lime trees, planted in 1732 in front of the inn "U Zlatého slunce". Originally a spa town, where cream from all over Europe came to the beginning of the 18th century, it was devastated by several floods after the death of Count Šporek, and mainly by the lack of interest of his heirs. Although you will no longer find a castle, a summer house or the original bridge with statues of harlequins here, there is still something to look at. The breathtaking Baroque complex around the Hospital has undergone extensive reconstruction and since 2015 you can admire it in full parade.
In Kuks, the spa has already rung, but in Velichovky it is still a hit. A beautiful city full of peace and spa buildings, it has been moving stiff joints for more than 120 years.
MILETÍN
If you have not been inspired by the region of Barbora Panklová, or you want to continue in the literary footsteps, head to Miletín. Here you will find the birth house of Karel Jaromír Erben. Directly from here, take the nature trail, where you will meet Polednice and find yourself at the former execution site of the poem Daughter's Curse. To drive away the goosebumps from horror places, have traditional Miletín gingerbread prayers in one of the confectioneries.
You can go on trips on foot or by bike. The foothills of the Krkonoše Mountains are full of cycling trails.
And then come back to us again. Sit in a sitting area or with a rod by the pond, walk among the trees and recharge your batteries for the next few months.
What’s there for children?
Posedy offers comfortable sleeping for two holidaymakers. In threes, you will probably sleep comfortably with only a small baby. But if only a mother with a daughter or a father with a son comes, you will definitely enjoy it here. Where else can you let the children run for a few hours without any worries.
