A hundred years ago there was a small fishing village here. After building a solid port, the city of 127,000 people grew in 19 years from 300 inhabitants! People settled everywhere - the richest in the center, the poorer on the outskirts, creating Polish Mexico, Beijing, Budapest and ... the Chinese Quarter. Now Gdynia is one of the largest cities in Poland, we have probably the most beautiful beach on the entire coast, one of the largest music festivals and the greatest film festival (we have everything here!) In addition, you can still eat good fish with us, jump into the Baltic Sea, or sunbathe gold on the city beach.

We still do not know why many people choose Gdańsk or Sopot for vacation, after all, we have a beautiful (and less crowded) pier, an amazing cliff overgrown with beech trees, Polanka Redłowska with a fireplace overlooking the sea, Kościuszko Square and the moored Dar Pomorza. We have a lot of murals, historic fishing houses and our tiny house just waiting for you to make yourself at home. Come the two of you on a vacation in a city that smells like iodine.

We invite you to our house, which is located in Gdynia ... but we would be lying if we said that we are in the very center - the house is located in a quiet district and borders the reserve. It can comfortably accommodate two people and possibly a child, although the number of stairs is not conducive to small legs. We installed a safety gate next to the stairs.

On the first floor of the dock we have placed a comfortable bedroom, and on the ground floor there is a kitchenette, a table with 4 chairs, a double sofa bed and a bathroom with a shower. The cottage has a quiet garden adjacent to our house and a separate room with a sauna and an outdoor shower.

The kitchen is equipped with all cooking utensils, a coffee machine and a kettle. We recommend you eat breakfast in the garden and afternoon coffee on a small balcony. In the garden you can make a barbecue and a fire, so don't forget to buy sausages, skewers and other delicacies to fry and bake.

You can do the shopping in nearby shops or shopping centers. In Kolibki, on weekends, an eco market is organized where you can buy healthy products. There is a confectionery nearby, several good restaurants, and we will send you for a fish to the very center and to the seaside.

It is impossible to get bored in Gdynia! First of all, we have a beach nearby, where you can spend all days. You can spend your evenings walking around the city, visiting clubs or going on a trip to Sopot or Gdańsk.

If you ride bikes, we recommend the Western Gdynia Loop, the route along the Bay of Gdańsk and the Osowa Loop. Be sure to go for walks to Kościuszko Square, where the most beautiful ships and sailing ships are moored, and with the charming Kępa Redłowska, reach Polanka Redłowska, where you can legally light a fire and organize a family picnic with a view of the sea. Also go to Kamienna Góra (you can go by cable car) with fantastic villas and a panorama of the Bay. In Śródmieście, take a walk along Starowiejska Street to Kaszubski Square, where there was a market long ago. Admire the beautiful murals, and walking down Świętojańska Street, go back in time - you will see an old fishing colony and small, old houses. Visit Dom Żeromski and the abandoned sanatorium in Orłowo. We recommend you to scratch the lookout tower and admire the view of Kościuszko Square and the marina, learn about the history of ocean liners at the Emigration Museum, see a model of Gdynia at the Observatory of Changes and the Maritime Academy's Hall of Traditions with various items of ship equipment, souvenirs from cruises, uniforms and much more. An absolute must see for museum enthusiasts is the Naval Museum (history of the Polish army at sea and a rich collection of weapons from World War II and the post-war period).

Gdynia hosts numerous concerts, outdoor events and festivals - you can view the events calendar on a regular basis on the city's website in the tourist guide. However, be sure to go to the Open'er Festival - the largest and most diverse festival in Poland, where you will hear musicians from all over the world. Tourists are also attracted by the Polish Feature Film Festival - one of the oldest film events in Europe, promoting Polish cinema on such a large scale. There is always a chance to shoot a photo with your favorite actor! Also go to the Musical Theater, where phenomenal performances are put on!

If you get tired of trips and sightseeing, make yourself comfortable on the beach (the Orłowska one is beautiful!) Or in our quiet garden and catch your breath. A book, a glass of wine or a burning fire will help.

In Gdynia, there are many attractive places, playgrounds and interesting museums that may interest them. Depending on the age of the child, you will surely find something suitable. Regardless of age, go to Dar Pomorza, take a short cruise or build a sand castle - such memories will never fade.

An interesting way to spend the afternoon can be a visit to the three-level Gdynia Aquarium at the end of Kościuszko Square, the Experyment Science Center, where children can ask as many questions as they can, where they can experiment, learn and have fun. If your child needs adrenaline supplementation, we recommend a family visit to Kolibki Adventure Park or the phenomenal trampoline park.
