Welcome to Podkarpacie. It's not the Bieszczady Mountains yet, but you can also start here, leaving everything behind. This is the Krośnieńsko-Jasielska Basin, the Bukowskie Foothills, and the house is located on the border of the Czarnorzecko-Strzyżowski Landscape Park. All around we have rivers, streams, rocks to climb or wander between, castle ruins, viewpoints, great forests for walking and picking mushrooms, gentle hills to wander around.
If you don't mind, you can light the tour in the fireplace, put board games on the table, wrap yourself in a blanket and sit with a book on the terrace, light a barbecue. Doing nothing like that hasn't hurt anyone yet.
From general to detail, I am already telling you where to go:
See the surroundings from a wider perspective and enter the viewpoint. The nearest local observation deck is only 700 meters from the house. The next one is a bit further, about 3 kilometers from us, towards Czarnorzek. The Korczyna-Czarnorzeki tower is 13 meters high, and from the top you can admire the Low Beskids, the Bieszczady Mountains, and even the Tatra Mountains when the visibility is good.
If you practice enotourism, you've come to the right place too. Less than a kilometer from the house is the Vineyard, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Gorlice Foothills with a glass in your hand.
From here it really is close to everywhere. For example, to the Trzy Woda Waterfall, which is 1.5 km from the house. A picturesque route through the forest leads to it, which at times has large differences in elevation, so reaching it with a trolley is impossible to overcome. Note - in the dry months, the waterfall may not make such a big impression due to water shortages. After the rain, the water drops are impressive. After the rain, however, the route is muddy and it is worth taking an amendment for that. Rain boots will probably come in handy.
In the unique, the largest in Poland and Europe, the Chocolate House M.Pelczar Chocolatier
you can not only drink, eat and buy chocolate. You can also take part in workshops where you will learn about the process of creating great chocolate, led by an experienced Chocolatier! Make sure you sign up for this attraction on the Pump Room website.
Only ten kilometers from here are the ruins of the medieval Kamieniec Castle. There are cyclical tournaments organized by the Association of the Slavs of the Wisłoka Valley, in the castle you can take part in workshops in the ceramics studio and creative workshops tailored to the age of the participants. Visit the castle with a guide - the price is PLN 9 per person. From the castle hill there is a beautiful view of the undulating surroundings.
The Prządek Nature Reserve is so close that it is a pity not to visit it. Anyway, it is worth coming here even on purpose to learn about the history of the Stone Spinners. Monumental, mysterious rocks fascinate and stimulate the imagination. The climb is easy, but you have to be careful as the path can be very slippery. It is worth reading the content on the information boards, because you will find a lot of interesting facts there. The reserve's attraction is 5 tourist routes from which you can admire the beautiful scenery and the view of the ruins of the castle in Odrzykoń. It is for hikers, and for climbers, there is the "Cross-border trail of climbing tourism", which is a project combining into one climbing sector the areas covering the area of the Strzyżowsko-Dynowskie Foothills. In the area of three rock groups: Sokola Grzbiet, Strzelnica and Przełom Marcinka, properly secured climbing routes have been marked out. Signposts lead to the rocks with marked climbing routes. It is best to leave the car in the parking lot by the church in Czarnorzyce and follow the asphalt road towards the upper station of the ski lift and the observation tower. Important! You cannot climb in the "Prządki" reserve and within the "Sokolec" nature monument, because these rocks are under protection.
In Krosno, 16 km away from us, I suggest visiting the Glass Heritage Center, museums and the Art Exhibitions Office.
Of course, you can also spend the entire stay in a hammock or on the terrace, and then it will also be wonderful, you can go mushroom picking, because in the forests around us there are mushrooms for the whole baskets. For less experienced mushroom pickers, I recommend a walk with a camera in hand. I personally prefer the latter mushroom picking.
