Triangles carry strong symbolism since the beginning of mankind. They also play an important role in Christianity, Buddhism and Taoism. They symbolize dynamic power, creativity, fire and are said to enable the achievement of deeper knowledge.
Yes and also (and be especially careful about this when staying with two) are a sign of the male principle and fertility.
Whatever aspect of Honz's Triangl treehouse appealed to you, it certainly sounds like you'll get more out of this vacation than you think. Let the magical power of three work on you and enjoy a new accommodation from a seasoned host.
The fascination with original houses began with Honza in the Philippines. He found himself in a restaurant that was located in the branches of trees, and his lumberjack heart skipped a beat. He returned home with a clear plan: to project his memory of the Philippines into Czech meadows and groves.
His heart drew him to his native Vysočina. And right here, not far from the place where he was born, Honza already built three wooden houses. The Tree Tiny House Triangle is the smallest of them. And thanks to its glass wall and endless view, you will understand why Honzo is simply not allowed in the Highlands.
For one night, for two, for three... How long can you relax in the Tiny house on a hundred-year-old linden tree with a view fixed on the clouds?
An airy room in the branches, interwoven with light and good mood, the accommodation is truly unconventional. It may not have all the amenities you're used to on your travels, but there's so much more! Yes, there is no need for a TV. But there is a 3D view of nature, of changing clouds and leaves blowing in the wind. Oh well, there isn't even a bathroom. But then again, there is a luxurious wellness corner with a sauna and an outdoor heated barrel. We admit, you won't even find a common room here. But who would look for it when you can spend mornings and evenings together on a spacious terrace?
So what is hidden in the Triangl treehouse with a glass roof?
• double bed made of solid wood with a high mattress and soft bed linen
• kitchenette with gas stove and dishes
• indoor seating on a chair and bean bag
• outdoor seating on the terrace behind the glass wall
• outdoor wellness area
• dry toilet
• drinking water
• windows facing all directions
In addition, duvets, blankets and enough chopped wood so that you don't suffer from the cold even on dry days. And electricity, so you can charge your phone and immortalize the divine peace in photos and videos, which you can then draw from for the rest of the year.
You have 5 liters of drinking water ready in the house (we will top up whenever you want) and a tank full of commercial water. Because if it is not raining, there is simply no running water on the tree. But even so, you will find a nice kitchenette with a gas stove, a French press, dishes and fresh herbs. And the view!
Breakfast on the terrace will start the day in Slow Travel style - because time has simply stopped here.
Batouchovice is an inconspicuous village with 60 inhabitants. The surrounding forests invite you to take leisurely walks. Alternatively, you can get into the saddle and start cruising around on your bicycles. But if the peace is too much for you, explore the triangle of interesting cities in the center of which we are located.
THE GREAT BETWEEN RIVERS
In the center of the city stands a beautiful castle, which is cared for by the Podstatzký-Lichtenstein noble family. Over the centuries, the Renaissance building (with the remains of Gothic fortifications) was supplemented with a Baroque wing designed by architect Jan Blažej Santini and some Neo-Gothic elements. The castle houses a museum where you can find an exhibition of weapons, baroque furniture, the history of the city, the private natural science collection of the head teacher Rudolf Divíšek or the cubist interior designed by the architect Pavel Janák from 1913.
The educational trail of the Bali Valley is also worth mentioning. The route runs between willows, poplars and alders and includes 12 stops. You can reward yourself for the process of self-education at the Jelínkova vila microbrewery. The beer here is prepared using the traditional hand-made method. You will taste unpasteurized and unfiltered Harrach beer in various variants and treat your body to a lot of vitamin B. It is also possible to order a tour of the brewery with an interesting explanation by an experienced expert.
TREBÍC
Třebíč is a city where you can find elements of the Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque styles. For example, the Renaissance Painted House on Charles Square is beautiful. It was built in the 16th century by the Italian merchant Francesco Calligardi for his beloved. Love always floats here, especially on the first floor, where there is a beautiful ceremony hall. The building also houses an art gallery and the Kaiserpanorama - an optical device that was the forerunner of the cinematograph.
Since 2018, the castle in Třebíčí has been included in the list of UNESCO monuments, as well as the local Jewish quarter, the Jewish cemetery and the Basilica of St. Procopius. The Jewish museum with interactive elements is located very close to the synagogue, in the Seligmann Bauer house.
JIHLAVA
When you've seen the beautiful historic center in Jihlava from above, explore it from below as well. You can walk 25 kilometers in the Jihlava underground if you want to see every corner. The biggest attraction is the mysterious phosphorescent corridor.
In Gustav Mahler's house, you will not only learn the details of the life of this great composer and celebrated conductor, but you will also explore the exhibition dedicated to the coexistence of Czechs, Jews and Germans in Jihlava.
And when it gets dark, enjoy an evening guided walk in the Jihlava Zoo.
ACCOMMODATION WITH WELLNESS
You don't have to see everything anyway. In line with Slow Travel, find time for yourself. And if you've walked or driven more than is healthy, you can simply relax tired muscles in our heated hot tub and salt Finnish sauna.
