Sobótkowe Zacisze 

We invite you to a house located in the Ślęża Landscape Park and at the foot of Mount Ślęża, the highest peak of the entire Sudeten Foreland (717.5 m above sea level). The house has 100 m², a 70-meter terrace, a fairy-tale garden and is the only one in the area with a gate leading to the forest. Inside you will find: – three bedrooms with double beds (one on the ground floor and two on the first floor), – bathroom with bathtub on the ground floor and toilet on the first floor, – living room with a comfortable sofa, fireplace and access to the terrace (on the ground floor), – kitchenette with table (on the ground floor). The sofa in the living room is foldable, so you can come to us even as a group of eight people, and be sure to bring your dogs (the area is fenced). We have neighbors, but the plants in the garden and the trees allow us to maintain privacy. In front of the house there is a terrace with a view of the forest and comfortable furniture. In the garden we have a fireplace and benches placed around it.

Góra Ślęża was a religious center of solar cult of local tribes. Already in the Bronze Age it was considered unique for this reason. And we have the impression that this power can also be felt today. It is a combination of good energy, a pinch of magic flowing from nature and the peace prevailing here. You will experience it fully in Sobótkowe Zacisz, which is located 30 km from Wrocław, 17 km from Świdnica and the same distance from Dzierżoniów. Our house borders the forest, which is part of the Ślężański Landscape Park. Don't be surprised if in the morning you see deer, wild boars or roe deer - they live nearby. There are squirrels running around in the trees and sometimes they look into the windows. A gate leads from our garden to the forest, and the forest invites you to take walks, practice deep and conscious breathing, and pick berries and mushrooms. The Ślęża Peak, called the Lower Silesian Olympus, towers over the flat landscape of Lower Silesia and is visible from a distance. Although the absolute height of the massif is not spectacular (it is 717.5 m above sea level), the relative height of over 500 meters makes Ślęża look truly impressive. The peak can be reached from three different directions - from Sobótka, Tąpada Pass and Zalew Silustrowicki. From Sobótka you can choose the yellow trail (leading from the Tourist House Pod Wieżyką, through Wieżyca and the Dębowa Pass, route length: 4 km) or the red trail (called the Ślężany Way, along the way you pass the sanctuary of St. Anne, the spring of St. James, and at the shelter on the nature trail, the trail joins the yellow trail, route length: 5.2 km). At the top of Ślęża there is a church and a reinforced concrete observation tower. The massif and its surroundings are covered with a fairly dense network of tourist trails. There are also two archaeological paths in the area marked with the symbol of the Ślęża bear and bicycle trails. The EuroVelo 9 trail (Amber Trail) runs nearby, the Suliwoods single track begins in Sulistrowiczki, and you can ride a bike to Ślęża itself - the routes have varying degrees of difficulty, there are some that will be perfect for family trips. We recommend the Master Loop around Góra Ślęża - this route is used by the Ślęża Half Marathon every spring. What else is nearby? – archaeological reserve (medieval stronghold of Będkowice), – Kantyna Quarry (Chwałków), and a little further – a former serpentinite quarry located on the green trail leading from Tąpada Pass to Słupice, – Górka Castle, which you can admire from the outside, visit during events organized there, the calendar of which can be found on Facebook, and walk around the park surrounding it, – manor house on the water in Będkowice, – dam on the reservoir in Sulistrowice, – the sanctuary of Our Lady of Good Counsel and the "Wenecja" Park in Sulistrowiczki, – wooden Church of Peace, on the UNESCO list, in Świdnica, – Emerald Lake, i.e. the closed, flooded Canteen Quarry, – Książ Castle, – Zalew Mietkowski, – Wieżyca rope park, – the "Pod Wieżyną" shelter and numerous concerts (including Chopin's) and cultural events that take place there, – in winter, sledding on the Janosik slope, the remains of the former ski lift, and skiing a little further, for example to the Górnik ski lift complex in Rzeczka.
