In the very heart of pre-war Zakopane, where the paths of its discoverers and the first conquerors of the Tatra Mountains once crossed, stands Villa Elżbiecina. It was 1912 when Wojtek Roj, a highlander and carpenter who was friends with Chałubiński, built it on a plot of land given to him by the famous philanthropist. Back then there was only a forest here. In the 1920s, the house came into the hands of the Korfantys and became a meeting place for politicians, writers and artists. It was Elżbieta Korfantowa, whose name our villa is named after, who expanded it with a spacious kitchen with an entrance from the garden. You will probably eat many leisurely breakfasts on her veranda. And just like a hundred years ago, the restored Witkiewicz-style villa is now a meeting place again. First our family, now also yours. We carefully reconstructed and renovated it. We painstakingly discovered her story. Driven by love for Małgosia's hometown and fascination with Zakopane, we restored it to its former glory. It is full of period furniture, antique lamps, trinkets, paintings and other trinkets that, although old, are still in use. And the villa, as befits a distinguished centenarian, has retained its pre-war layout of rooms. And although it is warm like a family home, it has the standard of a 5-star hotel.

You can feel positive energy at Willa Elżbiecina at every step. The house even invites you inside, and the hosts are happy to talk about it: about the arduous discovery of its history and about old Zakopane. They share their experiences from the reconstruction and renovation process and invite them to events organized in the villa, such as the Zakopane Night of Museums or the Zamoyski Festival.

  • The villa is made of wood, therefore smoking and the use of open fire are strictly prohibited. There are fire detectors located throughout the building. Each time the alarm is triggered, appropriate services will intervene. In such a case, the lessor will be charged a contractual penalty of PLN 500 for each case of unjustified activation of the fire protection system.

    A video monitoring system is installed in the common areas of the facility.
    The purpose of video monitoring is to ensure the proper safety of people staying on the premises of the Facility and to prevent all dangerous situations in advance, in particular:
    1) ensuring the safety of people staying in the area covered by monitoring,
    2) protection of the Lessor's property and the property of persons or property brought by persons staying in the area covered by monitoring,
    3) registration of events, in particular those that may constitute a crime, misdemeanor or tort,
    4) identification of perpetrators of violations of the law or damage to property or persons on the premises of the Facility and the area around the Facility, covered by monitoring,
    5) compensation for damage or annulment of the effects of violation of law.

    If the Landlord obtains personal data using video monitoring, it will be processed for a period of 30 days to ensure security on the premises of the Facility, which constitutes the legitimate interest of the administrator, unless the monitoring records an event that may constitute a crime or offense or constitutes an offense for the Tenant. , the Landlord or another entity, the basis for pursuing claims, in particular claims for damages. The Landlord will then process the data recorded by video monitoring for the time necessary to establish liability or satisfy claims. Except for cases in which video monitoring records an event that may constitute a crime or offense, or would constitute a basis for the Tenant, Landlord or other entity to pursue claims, the Landlord does not take any action to identify a person, therefore, in principle, it qualifies the personal data recorded via video monitoring, as unidentified within the meaning of Art. 11 GDPR.

    The Tenant and persons staying with him or at his invitation on the premises of the Facility and using the SPA Building are obliged to use the bathrobes or other coverings covering the entire body provided in the Facility, in particular to the garden or SPA terrace, when passing through the common areas, in particular to the garden or to the SPA terrace. limbs and head. Outside the SPA building, it is not allowed to stay or move around the Facility without completely covering the intimate parts of the body.
