In Mazovia, magical things happen in the former estate of Count Wiktor Zapolski. Manors are built from ruins, people become closer to each other, history intertwines with the present, and all this is only 40 km from Warsaw. The fates of many generations meet in a charming clearing surrounded by forests and orchards with undoubtedly the best apples in Poland. It was like this: shortly after the First World War, Count Zapolski and his wife, Anastazja Wasylowa, settled in Budki Petrykowskie. To build the estate, they hired specially imported craftsmen from the Beskids area, who created a highlander-style manor house in the centre of Mazovia.
The subsequent turmoil of war did not spare the farm, which was plundered and completely burned. After the Second World War, on the site of the ruins of the former manor, as was the custom of Poland, a state-owned farm was implemented. Here the story of Wiktorow ends at 65 years. In 2004, we gave ourselves the extremely difficult task of reviving a long-fallen and forgotten manor and dusting off the history of Count Zapolski. We employed highlander craftsmen to build the house, just like several decades earlier. The work required a lot of exercise and a good imagination because only two sketches of the front facade have survived from that period. Fulfilling the dream, however, was fast approaching, and it was a miracle to find a few small items from the former farm. A 120-year-old kerosene lamp, a dessert table, a bench with four chairs from 1927 and a sofa, miraculously saved from a fire, now decorate the rooms. Thus, in the 21st century, in a relaxing microclimate scented with pine trees, the guests are comforted by the manor house, which has escaped oblivion by a fluke. We invite you for peace, the entire history in the library, the warmth of the fireplace and cordiality. Rest and turn on slow motion mode.

Violet Room: in art deco style with a powerful reproduction of Siemiradzki's painting "Christian Dirce". The room is located in the left, eastern wing of the Manor House, which is why it is the coolest here in summer. The bedroom is connected by a private corridor with the bathroom.
