In the Warmian estate of Kacze Bagno, among the fields, where trees are singing, there is a place with a lively beating heart that's soothing and energizing at the same time. A medal goes out to those who expected that a Place of Positive Initiatives would be created in this wasteland. This is quite an unusual workshop centre created by people who are the definition of ingenuity, who live consciously, together with nature, in harmony with their values and they invite such people to come here.
Formerly a stronghold, a Teutonic Knights' tower to protect a nearby castle. Until 2005, an ordinary cowshed stood here. Today, the place, as its name suggests, engages positively crazy people and initiates the active spending of time. Organize a summer camp for children, a youth camp with attractions, an integration trip or a bachelorette party with dance classes. Between workshops, eat healthy food, that's local and seasonal, and at night, sleep with your own sleeping bag on bunk beds.
We allow young people to believe in themselves, experience an adventure and test their skills, adults are encouraged to free their inner child, and children forget about technology and homesickness. After a few hours of work, the participants put on theatre performances, play concerts or dance with fire. They eat their own baked bread, drink water with mint harvested in the gardens, watch a music video or film they have recorded, or dance on stilts. They talk in a circle about how their day has been, what they would like to learn tomorrow, what they like best and what they would like to change. They learn to communicate and work in a team. They live in a group.
Come to spark creativity and experience unforgettable moments.
In a charming nook full of adventures in the countryside of Warmia. Our Place of Positive Initiatives is an independent education and animation center, which means you come here for experience, learning, fun and lots of attractions. Of course, in addition to the great offer of classes, we have full accommodation and catering facilities.
We have a total of 65 beds, but we assure you that only your group will stay in Kaczym Bagno during your rest.
Individual, family or smaller group stays are also possible - here it is necessary to check the availability of the accommodation or workshop room in advance.
We have for you:
- a shared accommodation room (designed like a cup on a sailing ship) with bunk beds,
- 5 bathrooms with showers - separate for men and women.
There are also:
- kitchen,
- cafeteria,
- a place for a bonfire,
- 3 large verandas overlooking the picturesque surroundings,
- workshop room,
- a lecture hall with a sleeping function,
- ceramic workshop,
- cafeteria - chillout room,
- 3.5 ha of green areas for the implementation of artistic activities and at the exclusive disposal of the participants
- a cozy basement with a fireplace.
You should take with you: sleeping bags, towels and comfortable clothes.
* an American-style bed is possible at an additional cost.
Learn, develop, have fun and integrate, and we'll take care of the rest. The kitchen is ruled by a golden woman who serves full board, from breakfast to dinner. We prepare the menu each time based on the group, taking into account diets or food allergies.
Our cook is very good at vegetarian and vegan cuisine, and the vegetables and fruits used in the dishes come mostly from our permaculture garden. We source other products from local suppliers. We bake bread, we also have specialists in homemade preserves for the winter.

What’s there for children?
Kacze Bagno is a place where children lose track of time, reluctantly think about returning home, make new friends, play hard, learn something new and look forward to the next camp.
The kids will not complain about the lack of activities in Kaczym Bagno. We have caretakers for a medal, lots of activities in the day plan, delicious food and a nice atmosphere. They will learn to play African drums, dance with fire, walk on stilts, bake bread, shoot a bow, and dance. Little? It can also participate in classes in theater, pottery, handicrafts, first aid.
With us, nobody tells them that they cannot get dirty, that they must be quiet, that they must not speak or cry. Here they can safely make mistakes and draw conclusions from them. Our instructors support, motivate and follow the ideas and actions of young people. Children not only gain new skills and experiences, but also develop their value system, strengthen it, broaden their horizons.
