In the Warmian estate of Kacze Bagno, among the fields, where trees are singing, there is a place with a lively beating heart that's soothing and energizing at the same time. A medal goes out to those who expected that a Place of Positive Initiatives would be created in this wasteland. This is quite an unusual workshop centre created by people who are the definition of ingenuity, who live consciously, together with nature, in harmony with their values and they invite such people to come here.

Formerly a stronghold, a Teutonic Knights' tower to protect a nearby castle. Until 2005, an ordinary cowshed stood here. Today, the place, as its name suggests, engages positively crazy people and initiates the active spending of time. Organize a summer camp for children, a youth camp with attractions, an integration trip or a bachelorette party with dance classes. Between workshops, eat healthy food, that's local and seasonal, and at night, sleep with your own sleeping bag on bunk beds.

We allow young people to believe in themselves, experience an adventure and test their skills, adults are encouraged to free their inner child, and children forget about technology and homesickness. After a few hours of work, the participants put on theatre performances, play concerts or dance with fire. They eat their own baked bread, drink water with mint harvested in the gardens, watch a music video or film they have recorded, or dance on stilts. They talk in a circle about how their day has been, what they would like to learn tomorrow, what they like best and what they would like to change. They learn to communicate and work in a team. They live in a group.

We are people with verve, passion and endless reserves of strength to act. From an old barn we have created a warm place where groups of young people and adults come for workshop trips with accommodation and meals. We deal with alternative forms of education and stand on our heads to the rhythm of drums to provide you with an active detox from the city. Our people are positive, creative and caring educators and workshop leaders who skillfully meet challenges and adventures. The Place of Positive Initiatives was created by Michał - Miśka and Kamila - Kamyk mainly with young people in mind, following the example of Szkół pod Żaglami, but today it works for every social and age group. Here, the young and the slightly older decide and create themselves, and WE - the crew of Kaczego Bagno accompany them in their creative frenzy, supporting their ideas and desires.

The eco-house built using the "straw bale" method was made of straw and clay. Commissioned at the beginning of 2022. It consists of two triple rooms with private bathrooms and a covered veranda. There is no wifi, TV or minibar here.. but there is a smell of natural plaster and birds singing in the morning.
