First, there was just Sauerwald, a house in the woods by the lake. But since the second cottage was built at a safe distance from Sauerwald, now there will be Sauerwald First (the larger one) and Sauerwald Second (the smaller one). The second one (just like the first one) stands in the forest. Unlike the first, this one's in the heart of the old garden. It's 200 meters away from the first one, and a wall of trees separates it. And because the whole plot of land is 7 hectares, no one will be able to get in anyone's way and we still remain nicely cut-off from everything.
Overall, we invite you to the second house. It's a little smaller, a little more shaded, a little more for couples (with a dog). Designed in such a way as to suit trees, guests and the spirit of Warmia. We invite you from May 2019.
The location is a bit mysterious, because we want to hide it from the world and the prying eyes of onlookers. For now, it must be enough that we are in Warmia, in the vicinity of 4 lakes, near Jeziorany. We will provide you with detailed coordinates just before your arrival.
The author of the house design is Marcelina from the "Chillboxhouses" studio, which designs houses in Warmia and Masuria - always in accordance with the identity of the landscape. The Sauerwald was supposed to blend in perfectly with this area - green forest, lakes and the local peace.
We have about 45 m2 of interesting space for you, hidden in the forests of Warmia, on a seven-hectare plot with everything that can give us nature: forest meadows, streams, pond and forests. Next to the Second Sauerwald - literally 80 meters there is a beautiful little lake around which there are only 3 farms.
The house has for you:
- a living room with a fireplace + a sofa bed.
- kitchen (with dishwasher)
- bathroom (with heated floor)
- mezzanine bedroom with a double bed 180 x 200 cm
- a terrace overlooking the old orchard and a barbecue area.
The house is the most comfortable for a couple and can accommodate up to 4 adults (in an emergency) (with limited comfort),
We ask our guests to respect this place and surroundings, so do not plan loud parties or loud attractions in the Sauerwald. The house gives you a quiet zone and a place to contemplate.
Our guests receive an exclusive home from us. This means that we will not visit you with our field kitchen. There are so many interesting places for food tourism in the area that it is good that we do not cook.
